Someone mentioned it above, let's not try and focus on the midfield whilst we're making the appropriate changes for what the club knows will happen. We're all in agreement we need to bring in a midfielder (or two), for one last summer I'll have faith.

if this guy is bought i expect vidic to be sold, one year left on his contract, i cant see him being the type to take a paycut and get an extra year based on club policy.
he has always flirted with the idea of playing in italy.
if the price is right then maybe.

Sell Vidić?? Our captain and the only real leader in the team - fuck no! He is still the best defender we have and he looked pretty fine at the end of the season...

Read today Fletcher is coming in for pre-season sooner (goal.com). I dread him geting back and shifting Jones into midfield will be our "midfield solution". Then Garay would make some sense...

yeah read that too, supposed to be back in 2 weeks before the rest of the team to work with the conditioning coach, lets hope its true.
if he does get fully fit and we get garay then expect to see him and jones doing the dirty stuff and then carrick and maybe strootman doing the classy stuff

He's known to be wrong, and any real 'ITK' info is at a premiuim due to the regime changes, he told me last season RvP had turned us down, the say before we agreed the fee with Arsenal, ha. But I believe him, until I see otherwise with me own peepers. |
