This is looking more likely to be the first deal. Benfica have even lined up a replacement apparently. They've already signed two new CB's, Garay will be joining. People may think it's unnecessary but with Rio likely to play less and Vidic's injuries, an experienced, top quality CB puts us in good stead at the back. I think people will be surprised how good he actually is as well, will be one of the best center half's in the PL next season without question. Could we see Smalling go out on loan perhaps? Really needs to be playing week in week out now, zero point in him sitting on the bench for the season. |

This could be a good signing as we need an experienced center back incase vidic and rio get injured but our more pressing need is to sign one or two midfielders. I am hoping the deals for someone is concluded this week

We're signing Garay to convert him into a winger. Means we can move Young into the defensive/tough central midfield role because he tracks back so well.  |

Not that I want to get too cautious or carried a away Chelsea, Spurs, City, Arsenal and even the dippers are signing players they are linked with, whereas we seem to be the only ones atm getting rid of players or trying to hold on to them.
Just an observation, im sure things will get better :/

Just an observation, im sure things will get better :/ Got to admit it looks like we are lagging well behind....I really think we should have had Moysie starting earlier than 1st July and that he didn't just sod off on holiday....I can only hope and believe that a whole lot of stuff is done and dusted and that announcements will come soon....but the suspense is killing me!!! |

plenty of time left yet but as ive said, im impatient. If we dont sign these players all the people that have said its a done deal and know their "sources" to be true will look a bit silly eh  |
