Anyone shed any light on when the last time we went public with a bid and failed? Cos as far as I can think all other players we missed out on lately, I.e Sneijder, Thiago etc we never officially made a bid. Lucas Moura? Nasri? |

Do we go public? i don't think we do. It just leaks out because the press make random guesses & the ones that the most different Journo's guess is most likely the player we are bidding for.

Two points. Firstly its being reported that Barca would be looking for £35 mill, we've bid £26 mill..you'd imagine if we upped it to around £29 mill we'd probably have half a chance. Secondly Barca mulling over the 26 mill bid, don't know if that's good bad or indifferent. They haven't told us to fuck off just yet.

Hopefully not entertaining this thought could be the best possible thing as we wouldn't be that disappointed if it was a PR Stunt or we failed and end up Jubilant as RvP's if it went thru.
Do pls let me know what the ITK's think of this. we were supposed to have finalised Ronnie's deal months ago.
