SSN also said Thiago was done or something similar.
All news outlets have lost credibility imo over the last few years, I'd think twice about trusting any source.

I agree with you Jay, the media can throw out what they want for personal gain, Thiago's off to Utd it sells newspapers and drives online traffic to their sites. The problem is that there's no regulation involved, these guys can tell us he's signed for us but their not accountable for their actions after the event. Fabregas is going to be same old, re- the last few weeks.

Anyone on here believe this yet? I've not even entered the twitter realm for this one. What are the many ITKs saying on this one? is it a done deal yet? Still not believing it Jay. I even heard "Fabregas was open to a move to MUFC" this morning.....not sure how many times I heard that about Thiago. What believe we've made a bid? I see no reason not too, the sources are as credible as you can get without one of the clubs saying anything. The BBC rarely get involved with rumour type stuff and their article wasn't full of 'BBC sources understands' or alike, they just said it had happened. Which for now is good enough for me.

I have as much faith in these sources now as I do with the Chinese people I bought food from last night...both have left me with a very bad pain in the belly.

Only source I trust is Manchester United now. If they say something then okay. If not , piss off.

Do you know how much of a risk it would be to be a pr stunt with our new manager, if it was ferguson I might understand the whole pr bullocks but as a new manager especially recommended by ferguson a pr stunt would be suicide and a disrespect to united the fans and ferguson. stop with the pr shit because it don't make sense

No chance this is a PR stunt, we are genuinely in for him but I can't for a second see Barca accepting a bid of £26m. Not sure how all this transfer bollocks works and how Barca would react to such a low ball offer, maybe they come back and say we want £xxm to sell? The Times said we'd need to offer around £34m for it to go ahead which seems more than feasible.

Haha, whatever.
The player has literally said in the strongest possible way that he doesn't want to leave Barcelona.
If by some miracle Barca decide to sell him everyone will still know he never really wanted to leave, plus we'd have to break our transfer record in order to fend off the Gooners, in excess of 31mil.

I'd be happy for us to go to 34 mill for him. He's outstanding.

Considering iillaramendi or whatever his name is went for 34 million anywhere around that is cheap for fabregas.
