Just heard on the radio then it was From a doctor from the hospital saying the information that is coming out he Should make a good recovery, be in intensive care for maybe a week and then it will just be a long recovery period. Fingers crossed all is well Great news if true. Not prepared for this at all. Not now.

That’s excellent news.
Fergie isn’t going anywhere any time soon. He’ll be there for the next league title, I’m sure of it. We will win that FA Cup for him as well. And you know Ronaldo will wear a t-shirt with a message on it for him when he rattles in the 4th against the Scouse.

Christ lads, had to pull over the car on the way home when my lady mentioned seeing this on twitter.
So fucking happy to read it's looking up.

I was watching the BBC News channel earlier, they said they'd be providing updates on Fergie throughout the day.
I'm sure other media outlets will be doing the same. SSN, on the radio, etc.
Sounding relatively positive so far.

Just watched Sky Sports News, he's in Salford Royal.
They said it's one of the best neuro-surgery hospital's around, so he's in good hands.

I’m out and about today but will check in here occasionally. Let’s stay respectful and please provide updates as we have members from all over the world, who might find info trickier to come by.
Cheers

Pep, from that link... Brian Kidd was with him a lot of times. He was so sad. Big hug, get well Sir Alex. We are thinking of his wife, Cathy, and all the Man United family because he’s the most important person in the last I don’t know how many years. He’s an excellent person. I was glad to have dinner with him three weeks ago, we were together. Hopefully, the surgery is good and he comes back as quick as possible.

In fact, to most of these younger coaches , this man is a mentor and THE role model.

Yep, the only good thing to come from this is peoples respect for the man overcoming any shitty tribal rivalries, that in the bigger picture mean fuck all.
