Get your point, most of which is a trade off I guess but the "not wanting to play for us" is a hard one to swallow, hence I still say he is a cunt.....

Because he had a good game against the rents (given his paycheck I'd say he still underperformed) many have forgiven him and are begging him to stay (some idiots suggested he should be given the armband ffs) - like he isn't an ungrateful cunt who doesn't want to be here...
...I agree selling him to the rents is not a good move, but I think keeping him will hold us back (by not utilising Kags)

The only reason he has previously & currently kept Kagawa out of the side,has been because the management are obviously seeing more from Rooney in training than Kags.

Or could it be that Rooney threatens to leave when he gets dropped whereas Kagawa threatens to improve? I agree though he will win me back if he keeps playing like that.

Probably what Moyes wants from that position is offered more by Rooney than Kags. Though, Roo tracks back more than Kags and puts strong tackles when necessary. Though, that position doesnt demand a player like that, Moyes would be more comfortable with such type of player (atleast for soem time).
Also, it is not a surprise that many technically gifted players move to Spain. The most tech gifted player (Mata & Kags) from both teams were on the bench.
