Billions finale was a good ’un. Think most of the final season was a bit meh but it got better at the end.
Been a fantastic show for the most part with some quality characters. Jeffrey DeMunn as Chuck’s awful father a personal fave. Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti obviously superb too.

I loathe reality TV. Completely and utterly pointless and I’ve never understood the appeal.
So imagine my surprise when I watched Traitors and discovered it is beyond sensational!

He's not everyone's cup of tea, but Clarkson's farm has carried on the good form! Great TV 😁

Very strong first episode. Yep, I liked it a lot. It only went downhill from there. It was actually extremely poor.

Anyone watched the latest rendition of James Clavell's Shōgun?
The book was honestly one of the most epic reads of my life (perhaps also the longest!), and hearing very good things about the series - like, GOT-level reviews.
I'm actually making my way through his second novel, Tai-Pan, at the moment.
Simply fantastic, his entire Asian saga is highly recommended.

Is it weird that I wanted this entire series to be in Japanese? I feel that feudal-era Japan series/movies should mandatorily be in Japanese or the content suffers. That said I want to try this out.

1000% agree, so too any film set anywhere outside of English-speaking countries.
The number of French films that have been mildly ruined to me by this Anglicization (not sure that's a word) of the dialogue is countless!

It only went downhill from there. It was actually extremely poor. I thought it was decent enough until the final episode. Which was terrible.

So one programme I've never got round to watching is The Sopranos. Seems I've missed a few of the older shows looking back.
Nearly 4 seasons in and wondering how tf I've never gotten round to watching it until now. Brilliant TV show.

Season 5 of Fargo was superb. One of the better ones IMO.
