Everything on TV is shite! Golden age my craphole. The only shows worth watching are South Park, Twin Peaks, Columbo and Monty Python/Fawlty Towers. This is sarcasm.... right?  |

True Detective could well be one of the best shows I've ever watched. McConaughey's character, the nature of the relationship between Cohle & Hart, the cinematography and the ambiance created by an immense soundtrack puts it on another level. I think as a stand alone season that will easily go down as one of the best ever very interested to see what the next story will be but it will be very tough to top. But if it continues like this it'll be up there with Breaking Bad, The Wire and Game of Thrones. Anyone been watching The Walking Dead this season? Very disappointing IMO really taken a downturn with the shake up of the showrunners also the fact Carl is still alive is becoming almost a weekly source of angst. |

Yeah the walking dead isn't really doing anything for me anymore. Carl is annoying as fuck, can he just hurry up and be killed off please. And why are you all still just wandering around the woods?! Fuck! Change of scenery please. How about maybe showing us how other people in other parts of the country or world are coping? |

[ spoiler ]Yeah the full prison season wasn't great it's so hit and miss for me know the recent episode with carol and tyreese and the two wee lassies was one of the best they've had for a while then they followed it up with last week's which was just meh. Dazjoe i agree the fact that they have all been in the woods for 7 episodes get's tiring especially after an entire season in a prison but I kinda get why it's more character based than it is action/adventure based which is a bit of a departure from other films or tv involving a zombie apocalypse. On a bright note i think the last episode does look quite good. Aye Carl is the moyes of the walking dead he needs to be put out of our misery.[ /spoiler ] |

It's stunning, out of this world. Agree with your sentiments completely. It's up there with the very best shows I've ever seen. The writing is superb. The one take raid on the stash house is probably the best scene I've ever watched on tv. Could not agree more, I was hooked from the first episode, actually, from the opening credits, stylish as hell. As you said, Episode 4, the shoot out in the projects was incredible. |
