Funny how all the people suddenly saying negative shit towards Herrera wasn't saying it before he decoded to leave. I fear for some of our fanbase at times I really do. Guy leaves so lets all make out he's not good enough etc. Grief. Yeah the hate towards him is ridiculous. He dont deserve it. He has been a great pro for the club during his time here. deserves respect for that. His career hit rock bottom during the van gaal years , he was having a tough time even getting few minutes but I remember he never kicked up a fuss or bad mouthed the manager later. Always gave his best , if only players like pogba had his attitude.

If he wants to stay on 150 or 160, a contract has been offered to him. Havnt the club offered him a few contracts now from over a year ago which have been turned down, decent player but its the right thing for both party's now time to move on

Your post highlights exactly what's wrong with letting Herrera go, Ed has signed up those other wankers to new deals and picks a good player who should remain at the club to make a stand on salaries. Dumb move by Ed, yet again. When poor play gets rewarded and good players are allowed to walk out the door standards plummet. My point was , just because we made some mistake with those wankers , we should not be repeating it again with herrera. Although not fair to compare him with young and rojo he is not exactly world class also. Being a little optimistic here , but may be this is the people running the club finally waking up to the fact we cant keep handing out whatever salaries these players demand. A line has to be drawn somewhere. I totally disagree mate, there's a vast chasm between world class and Young / Rojo. Herrera is much more useful, and if the club wants to cut its cloth to fit, sell that tube Lukaku, he's comfortably on 250k+ a week, le sulk Martial on big money, axe him to. Signing other young talent to will help lower wage levels naturally to as they tend to start lower on the salary scale. Overarching all of that, money isn't an issue anyway.

Herrera leaving also gives a lot more of a chance to players like Pereira and Fred. Who I believe can make a lot more impact going forward.

I highly doubt the terms of the renewal he refused were bad, maybe the years weren't to his liking, but I would be amazed if he gets better money elsewhere.

Without going full scouse, maybe next season is the one.

Think you have misread me. young / rojo are shit , they have got new contracts , was that correct decision ? NO Now we are faced with a new probelm of ander ,who is ability wise a useful squad player demanding ridiculous wages , should the club give in because the above mistakes were made with young/rojo ? I dont think so. By the way i agree with your comment on lukakku , sell him asap , martial should be given one more year to get his shit together if not sell him too. Money will become an issue when every player and their agent start demanding these kind of figures for themselves. I think its only Real and Barca who have higher wage bill than us in Europe , they are the 2 best teams going around and have so many genuinely world class talents. we mostly have dross and this kind of wage bill is not excusable or sustainable

I agree with this about the wages, im not aiming it anybody in particular, I've seen it on most social media platforms saying that he's not even that good so he can fuck off. That's what im getting at.

Each to their own mate, its more aimed at people saying he's nowhere near good enough which I find insane, criticism is one thing but so many have suddenly jumped on his back, that's what I find unfair on the lad.
