To be fair, it would make more sense to rest him after all that travel and two games within a week after having little or no games time since July, given that we are going into a fairly busy period once the CL starts. It is almost nailed on for Giggs to start against C.P, which IMO are the only level of opposition he should get even close to the bench for. If the match last week wasn't the final necessary wake up call for our coaching staff that Giggs shouldn't be starting games we might as well give up. Damn, it feels like I've said that before. It almost feels like Giggs is taking the piss a bit by presenting himself for selection going into his 40th year. He was a smashing smashing player in his time and to see him getting criticised like this as he struggles through games is painful. It kinda sours his legacy slightly in our minds and this is a pity. Moyesy the biggest decision to make in your early Utd career is to slowly move Giggs out of the squad. Tough but true.

We won't remember Giggsy as the phenomenal flying, jinking, winger he was, probably the closest heir to Best we've seen. No, we'll remember him as the guy who didn't know when to step aside and held on for too long. Does anyone honestly, honestly see a teamsheet with Giggs on it and not be disappointed anymore? The only ones left have to be his family or the the blind faithers.

Ahh...I forgot Wick... after our transfer fiasco, the only thing that's now left in the world is to discuss Giggsy's family. Would have been great if Giggs had left on a high on the back of winning the league. Back to the topic, m a fan of Benteke; a good target man, but IMO not exactly the type of player to compliment RvP. I think the type of player who would compliment RvP better would be in the mould of Aguero, Rooney..

Agree on Benteke comment, I would add that it doesn't fill me with confidence if thats our main target to compliment RvP however in Moyes we must trust I guess.....

I dont see any benefit in buying Benteke v Welbeck.

If we get Benteke then surely that's the end of either Welbeck or Hernandez IMO. Which I don't want to see. I don't see the benefit of bringing in another striker when we are currently struggling to get the ball to the strikers we actually have. It would make no sense.

I'd replace Rooney with Ryan James Wilson and There's only two Keanos, W.

If were talking about 'replacements' for Rooney... the man for that job is a more capable number 10 IMO his name is Shinji. And we just dont need anymore strikers at the moment.
Carrick is 32, I keep reminding everyone this because it soon wont be 'finding a partner for Carrick' rather establishing a new duo.
