Ridiculous the amount of shit Gary Neville is getting at the moment over this aswell. Twitter is becoming a bigger haven't for tosspots aa time goes. Would it not be illegal for Gary or Phil to help Bury considering they own another team in the football league? Apparently so.

Seems to be berties with the comments anyway so they know fuck all about historical clubs. 134 years vs 11 years of history.
Neville's doing a good enough job at keeping them quiet though.

Apparently everyone but the owner of Bolton had agreed to a sale.
This is the problem in the EFL and the PL. The fit and proper owners test is an absolute fucking sham and they do nothing about it. The fucking EFL should be flogged on the streets like it’s the Middle Ages the bastards. Two clubs more than 100 years old gone out like this, it is an unmitigated disaster and a disgrace.

Neville's become a right arsehole about the Glazers though. Biggest platform of any ex-Red and he basically says fuck all.
It's a disgrace what has been allowed to happen to Bury and Bolton though.

Crazy to see Bolton all but relegated to league 2. Fortunes change fast in this unforgiving game.

Crazy to see Bolton all but relegated to league 2. Fortunes change fast in this unforgiving game. Amazing how ineffective/parasitic ownership can destroy a football club, while those effected (supporters) are powerless and those with power (FA) are unwilling to do anything. The one structure from North American sport we should look at adopting is how leagues/Commissioners have taken control over clubs or actively ousted owners eg., Sterling in the NBA.

League's one and two ended on points per game.
Means Sunderland end up 8th, and in League 1 for a 3rd straight season.
Hopefully their fans all celebrated this by "doing the Poznan" in their homes.
Couldn't happen to a nicer lot.

Couldn't happen to a nicer lot. Seems very unfair on Tranmere as well but there literally was no way of pleasing everyone. Be interesting to see how the national league decide it
