Scouse/Welsh rugby levels of delusion of their importance to football (Herbert Chapman managed them you knuhh) and of the level of football they are at (There weren't a striker like Booootheh). Hope they get relegated next season. |

I’ve never hidden that I’m a Gillingham supporter having grown up there and not being in a position geographically or financially in my youth to travel to see United, even though I’ve been a supporter since the Euro final in ‘68 (and have watched us home and away many times when travelling back to the UK).
Anyway, Gillingham were bought out by an American investor on January 1st. He’s basically saved the club (who were languishing at the bottom of League 2 with the least goals ever scored in the EFL to date!). He’s invested in some talent, we’ve won the last 2 games and there are more players to come. He couldn’t be more different to the Glazers, communicative, engaging and with a clear business plan that he’s made transparent. I know we’re talking chalk and cheese here in respect to size of club, profile, etc, but goes to show, there are some decent investors from over the pond!
