Well I guess that makes it alright then. The fact that woman stayed with him after he cheated on here says more about her character than it does Evans'. Why does it? All I see is a woman who truly loves him and is willing to forgive him for cheating on her, (some women do actually give their cheating man a second chance. And visa versa for that matter). If it wasn't for the police turning up with the allegations brought against him, she would've been none the wiser. Now if she was to find out about his shenanigans through the grape vine for example, he would've lied through his teeth. Then if she found out categorically that he lied aswell as cheated, then she would've darted like a greyhound out of the traps and fucked him off. Evans was forced to admit it to her because he found himself in the grips of the law. Whether he's admitted to other instances of cheating I wouldn't know. She's shown she can forgive him for straying, but I doubt she would've done the same if she found he was a liar aswell. All she's done is shown her loyalty to him, and must believe he's told the truth that he committed no rape. I'm sure she isn't sticking by him for the money he earned as a footballer alone, as that's mostly been swallowed up in lawyer and legal fees. I bet he won't be going behind her back again. If he does, then he deserves to lose her. Because I doubt she'd be stupid enough to forgive him again. Now what's wrong with that? Seriously? It wouldn't have been okay for her to find out 'through the grapevine' but once he got arrested for rape that was okay. Suddenly Ched Evans isn't a liar. Still a cheat, but not a liar. Somehow. Cheating is fucking lying. Being forced to admit to cheating isn't an excuse or anything like it. That's worse than if he had admitted it freely FFS.

I believe he did it and I believe that if it wasn't rape the appeal would never have been allowed. Leave to appeal was refused twice for crying out loud.

I didn't say it was ok, or inferring anything of the kind. I believe you just don't think she should stand by him because he cheated. That's fair enough, no problem with that, if that's the case!? If it was a case of 'through the grapevine' instead of him being pushed into a corner by the law, he'd have lied through his teeth.
He's been a knob for letting her down this way in the first place, and if he lets her down again in the same manner, then he's an even bigger knob and he deserves all he gets, cos she won't be stupid enough to forgive him again. Especially after the past 3 years or so. It says a lot about her loyalty! Which he dare not piss on again if he's any sense. She deserves more credit than you think!
Being accused of cheating is one thing. Being wrongly accused of rape is a different animal altogeher. I just think your first reply about her was a bit below the belt tbh. If she wants to stand by him, good luck to her!
.... And cheating isn't lying per-se!.... Denial is!

I'm curious but on what evidence do you believe this? There has got to be something which means that it was a false accusation otherwise he'd not be in this possition.

16:23 Scenes at the Amex! Brighton have one last corner in the 94th minute, keeper David Stockdale is up there making a nuisance of himself, the ball drops to James Wilson and he fires it into the net. It means the Seagulls rise to second in the Championship table and can go up if they beat Middlesbrough on the final day. Burnley will go up with a win against QPR - that one kicks off in 15 minutes. Earlier, Brighton had Lewis Dunk sent off - he'll miss the game against Boro, and potentially the first match in the play-offs. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/36185594

I bet his old man will be proud of his son looking down from up above. Nigel Clough: Burton Albion rise to Championship truly remarkable
By Andrew Aloia BBC Sport1 hour ago|Football Burton will play two previous European Cup winners - Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest - in the Championship next seasonLeicester City were relegated to League One, Bolton Wanderers shone in Europe and Portsmouth won the FA Cup - the season was 2007-08 and Burton Albion were just a footnote in English football as losing Conference play-off semi-finalists.
Eight seasons later, Leicester are Premier League champions, Bolton have been relegated to League One and Portsmouth are are in the League Two play-offs after three relegations in five years. As for Burton, they have been promoted to the second tier for the first time in their history......... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36194852

RIP to the 56 football fans who died at Bradfords stadium 31 years ago today.
A tragedy that the media or anyone else don't give a fuck about or make a fuss over.
