The kid deserves a thread, anyone who's seen him play a few times will tell you he's got a massive future and he's still only 18.

He seems a top guy too, check out some of his twitter posts. It seems that, for a change, we have a player that knows how lucky he is to be playing for United.

Just seen this...great news and I hope he gets to feature next season...so with him in the squad how many midfielders do we really need especially if you add Powell to the mix - and Petrucci..?

As in he may never leave, even for snacks, or supplies. He'd just train and be great and score goals all the time, after which he'd go back to a room under Old Trafford especially designed to house (incarcerate) him.

I've begun to lose a bit of hope for Petrucci, he's not getting any younger and he's hardly featured for the first team.

Powell, Januzaj & Lingard are the big ones for me, central midfield to winger prospects wise.

Petrucci isn't exactly young anymore right? Was he injured or why didn't he feature in first team yet??

Then you have Scholes retiring, doubts about Darren, Giggs being phased out, Ando probably sold...so we NEED 1/2 midfielders that will have instant impact while Januzaj and Powell should get games here and there hopefully...

Petrucci is not "OLD". Still think that he has a future in this club if he can learn to take care of himself.
As for Januzaj- can;t wait to see him in the First XI. a cracking player , him Cole and Lingard are the ones i have will an eye on.

Moyes could do worse for his first bit of 'business' to get this lad a new deal. Before the rest of Europe realise he's really quite good at football.

On the pronunciation, any experts? I've just kind of assumed the J are pronounced Y, that may even be very wrong.
