From last night's u/21s defeat. I haven't been this excited about a youth player since Pogba and Januzaj is probably better on the ball than the latter. Really hope he gets some minutes, a new contract and some opportunities in the cup. His first touch, passing range and movement are sublime. If he bulks up a bit he can become top, top notch. It looked as though he got better as the game went on... He also seems pretty strong on the ball and the way players are protected these days, I think he could handle the Prem. His passing looked pretty awesome at times too... I'm scared to like him as I liked Pogba and Morrison, so I don't want to jinx it but get him some playing time pleeeeeeeaaase!!!

Januzaj: I'll give everything
After sampling a first taste of Old Trafford, Adnan Januzaj is hungry for more and insists he will “give everything for the club” when given the chance.
Januzaj made his Barclays Premier League debut on Saturday in a comfortable 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, replacing Ashley Young after 67 minutes. The outing followed hot on the heels of his official bow during last month’s FA Community Shield at Wembley.
Now, the 18-year-old is desperate to impress and hopes to feature again soon, having produced an encouraging performance of great courage and verve against the Eagles.
“I felt great and shocked because I played for about 25 minutes and that was my first [league] game," Adnan told MUTV. "I think I did some good things, but it is only my debut so I have to keep doing well on the pitch. I appreciate the very good fans, they gave me a bit of power when I came on the pitch. I am very happy.
“I hoped to get a goal but I tried to do my best for the team and tried to give goals and score goals. I just tried to do my best. Of course, I want more games to play and I hope I will have another chance to play for the first team. If I have the chance then I will give everything for the club.”
Speaking after Saturday’s win, manager David Moyes revealed he almost picked Januzaj from the start and explained why the Belgian hasn’t been able to build on his impressive tour performances so far this season.
“Adnan's ahead of schedule,” said Moyes. “I would have introduced him earlier if the games had been suited but the start of the Premier League has been a bit more difficult. I thought today if I got the opportunity I'd introduce him and I considered playing him from the start.
“His performance when he came on shows that would have been merited. He did a lot of good things, he moved with the ball well. The boy's going to be a good player, he's 18 years old and he's a good talent.”

Very, very encouraging words from Moyes about giving him match-time and especially thinking about giving him a start against Palace. Bench next week against city, to maybe get a run out? Remember another prodigious talent being given that chance 20-odd years ago? ...
The lad himself speaks like such a nice kid who wants to be the absolute best he can for us. Can't help but melt a bit really.
New contract for him please, a long one. Like, 15 years.

And he's a left winger. The fave position is left wing. The next number 11?

Very excited to see this kid blossom. The Composure on the ball for a kid of 18 years is quite remarkable. Has great attitude too unlike Pogba & Morrison. Plz get him to sign a long term contract soon. --- Edit: Haha Bestie 15 years !! I like that

Can anyone tell me why we haven't already signed him up long term?
I was under the impression that we had done this a few weeks ago but it seems not.

I know he's only young but I want him to feature either 2moro night or more importantly on Sunday. He's only going to get the experience one way and thats by playing.
The differnce between (#44) and Pogba is that one was up his own arse and felt the club owed him and the other is keen to prove himself and given the chance he's willing to show that (and in all fairness thats what he's done so far, every time he's played for us he's shone).
It'll go 1 of 2 ways.
1. He will sign a new contract and he will become a star for us.
2. The yank cunts will see pound signs and flog him to pocket even more money.
This kid is only 18 years old and he's clearly showing that he can be a huge success, Hoping that it starts this season.

If we don't give the lad a sizable contract I'll officially give up and weep in a ball of hopelessness.
