More than Fellaini has ever done for us. But have it your way. Fellani has been here 6 months less than 4 months, Anderson has been here 6 years. Hardly a fair comparison. Since 09 Anderson has had what, 5 good games? 10? how many has he played? I like Anderson btw. I always hoped he'd be the answer for us, that'd he be one of the first names on the sheet. He's far more talented than Fellani, any one can see that. But the injuries, the fitness, it's never happened for him. look at Lucas from the vermiin. Anderson is 100 times more naturally gifted. But Lucas has come back from each of his injuries fit and ready. Ando never did and that's the difference. I hope he does well in Italy, he probably will. |

I didn't really mean a like for like, just meant by the time Carrick needs replacing he'll be ready for the first team. We don't exactly need a 'type', Keane and Carrick were very different but ultimately both very successful. But after recent disappointments I refuse to get to excited over youth prospects.

Fabio has gone to Cardiff on loan. If so (and I have seen something about this too) then surely DD must be confident of getting someone in at LB? ....then again we are relying on Deadwood to make the deal happen....  They make take the view that Buttner or Varela are adequate & are already on the books. |

I did play Ashley fucking Young over Buttner @ LB. No Kidding. In the few mins he was on the pitch against Swans, Buttner gave me a headache. The illusion that he is a defender must stop, NOW.
