My observation. Firstly 'immediately' selling or retiring 13 players, most certainly isn't going to be happening right now, not even short term, in my view. I'm also sceptical that 10 players will be breaking through the ranks within two years. N o one is saying that it will happen in this exact format or magnitude. The OP, with subject BIG CLEAR-OUT, is asking about our opinions, hence it is, well kinda BIG. Last time i checked the dictionary 'immediately' means right now. lol. Also 10 players breaking through within the space of a year or two is pretty swift also. Anyway, moving on.....

How and where did I say that immediately does not mean right now, funny guy. The OP is not asking for the most rational arguments of how the next several transfer window dealings will come to pass. It is asking for our opinions on who should leave/stay in case there's a BIG CLEAR-OUT, something that rarely happens in MAN UTD history in the first place. What do you expect people to say in threads like these? Anyway, half of those 13 players that I listed to immediately leave are not even in the first team squad (Macheda, Bebe, Petrucci), considered regulars (Ando, Buttner, Fabio, Ando, Young) or being on top of their form/game due to age (Rio, Evra, Giggs), so the fact that they might leave within a year or two isn't too far fetched. There are already precedents: 05/06 15 players left, 07/08 9 came and 11 left, 12/13 7 came and 11 left so on. If there actually is a BIG CLEAR-OUT, I wont expect those players all being replaced with new faces taking in mind Dithering Dave's and Ed Woods's Ultra Transfer Skills (or rather lack of there off) so a lot of young players will most likely be gradually included in the first team squad by way of friendlies and cup games.

Goalkeepers
De Gea Lindegaard Amos
Defenders
Rafael Evra - Seriously lacking in defending ability now. Would love to see Fabio given a run. Rio - Retire. Vidic Jones Smalling Evans Fabio Buttner
Central Midfield
Carrick Anderson - Well outstayed his welcome. Not good enough. Fellaini - Was never a United player, wasted an awful amount of money on him too to make it worse. Cleverley - Not good enough unfortunately. Powell Fletcher
Wingers
Nani - Inconsistent. Hasn't had a good game for quite some time IMO. Valencia - Lost his spark since breaking his leg IMO. Januzaj Young - Hasn't offered anything, only good game I saw him have was against Arsenal. Giggs - Needs to offer his services in coaching now, should retire. Zaha Attackers
van Persie Hernandez Welbeck - Another one who isn't United quality. Rooney Kagawa

Also I suspect you'll be backtracking on 'Welbeck not United quality' soon enough.

Valencia's end product is his achilles heel, coupled with his brain not being inventive enough to dribble past that final defender at times. As for Danny, well I believe this guy could be outstanding if he puts those scoring boots on regularly, he is young enough to learn that part of his football. For now I would keep Valencia and IMO Danny stay's end of.

Surprised with people's views on Danny. Last few games where he has started has a striker , you know the one he is supposed to be he has scored or atleast looked to score and has had a good understanding with Rooney and Ladnan and Chico as well.
Be it was WHU or Villa if it was any other player most of his movements would have been praised well over the wall. He will score goals as long as he plays in strikers role not when on the wings but he will do a job that's needed when he plays there - don't think more can be asked of him. Its not like he gets confused or angry and petulant for being played out of position

Goalkeepers
De Gea - He has to go, everything is his fault. Lindegaard Amos
Defenders
Rafael Evra - He's French. Rio - Needs to think about perhaps a coaching role and play a lot less. Vidic - He's past it apparently. Jones - He's set to leave because they are ready to make the next Punisher sequel. Smalling - We have Rafa now so we don't need another Right Back. Evans - Well he's just utter shit isn't he. He's the cause of all the goals we concede, even if he's on the bench. Fabio - Isn't he still at QPR because he doesn't seem to be at Manchester. Buttner He cost us the westham goal which could cost us the league should it go to goal difference again.
Central Midfield
Carrick Anderson - He's too plump ( dont want to seem like a bully mentioning the word fat) Fellaini - He's a tree. One that needs to improve. Cleverley - Well he's the worst player in united history isn't he. Total garbage. Powell - Who is he? Fletcher
Wingers
Nani - He's nothing without his glove. Valencia - Worst winger ever. We need to get rid because he broke his leg a few years ago (apparently that matters) Januzaj - He's shocking. Young - He's shit Giggs- He's old Zaha - He dabbled with the daughter. Attackers
van Persie Hernandez Welbeck He looks like Dizzee Rascal and he sounds a bit of a bellend so thats a good enough reason to get rid. Rooney Simply just an out and out grade A potato headed, shrek looking, money grabbing, face scratching CUNT. Kagawa - He's not good enough, Park's twin brother hasn't done anything and it's his fault because he wont play in his proper position (The Bench)

@cavelly2k That's is a wipe out!! Might I add Rafa - reckless, lunges into tackles and can't defend RVP - perma crock Chicha - no link up play, useless outside the box.

I ran out of things to put lol. Just hope people don't take it literally otherwise I'm in for some fun. Opinions are exactly that but some of the players mentions and the reasoning are mind boggling. So what better than to just get rid of all of them

Giggs,Rio retire. Out soon Anderson,Young,Buttner. Out later Nani,Welbeck,Felaini. Its what I want, not what will really happen. Nani might have some january value though.

Get rid of Valencia, don't give a fuck what he's done in the past, he simply isn't good enough. His crossing statistics are absolutely abysmal, sort of thing you'd see in Sunday league.

I can go with that list but not Danny Im afraid... We can have a world class striker as in RVP but when he is injured it will be unlikely we will have another world class striker happy to sit on the bench waiting a game or two... We always have had strength in depth and it must be maintained, all be it, its not fantastic at the mo but better than a lot of teams out there...

Thank you, I would probably keep Welbeck as a third striker if he keeps the same form.Evra I should include but he has been such a good soldier like Giggs I dont like to talk bad about him. I am tired of Valencia also. Maybe the title should say who to keep?

A squad needs players like Toni, O'shea, K. Richardson, etc.
