Moyes thinks we are playing really really well fella's. John Giles on Radio here in Ireland said he found this sentiment from Moyes very worrying. I tend to agree. If we are playing so well then don't expect too much transfer activity. He has said we are playing well after every game, I hope to God it is a deflection policy of sorts because if the thinks the shite they have been serving up is acceptable at any level we are fucked. |

Looks like Buttner is set to go out on loan to Genoa. I would say that pin will be pulled when we get the signature of a replacement or is he finally going to give Fabio his chance or has he got the nod from Southampton for Shaw  |

My thoughts on Valencia aren't exactly a secret, but I do think that his inadequacies have been somewhat thrust front and centre by a complete over reliance by Moyes on the "Player A to Rooney to Hollywood it far right for Valencia to hack it into the box" strategy. Fergie was not immune to this either but Moyes has taken it to a whole new level. I used to be in the "Valencia at right back when Rafael is crooked" camp, but that's been a disaster. The only way I keep him now is if he's 2nd/3rd choice and brought on as a last resort or as a change of pace. We've banged on about that for years, even Fergie was susceptible to the that tactic with 'Scholes' instead of 'Rooney' and for seasons I've banged on about that made us predictable and boring. Plus pointing out Tony V is rather poor at crossing, something the majority are only picking up now. If we want to emphasise wing play well need someone who can cross, simple as. If not we'll need some new ideas. |

Him nearly joining, not getting games for Real. It is a sensible transfer, talented player with experience who was upset when his loan deal didn't go through. I know he hasn't featured much, did he manage to get himself CL tied? Even if he did and the price is indeed quite low, we should really try and get him. For me it seems a smart buy, but I wonder if we'd be petty about dealing with Real, we all know Fergies thoughts on them and when we did try they did back out in the final minutes of the window. Cant imagine we were to happy. |
