Him nearly joining, not getting games for Real. It is a sensible transfer, talented player with experience who was upset when his loan deal didn't go through. I know he hasn't featured much, did he manage to get himself CL tied? Even if he did and the price is indeed quite low, we should really try and get him. For me it seems a smart buy, but I wonder if we'd be petty about dealing with Real, we all know Fergies thoughts on them and when we did try they did back out in the final minutes of the window. Cant imagine we were to happy. He's not cup/tied to the best of my knowledge. But it is, as you say, a sensible transfer which means its highly unlikely to happen. |

It could still be consistent - United offered a quality player and still failing to sign anyone (club manages to fuck up the transfer, or deciding to pass on it because we somehow feel we don't need). I am very pessimistic at the moment.  |

the only thing we f***ed up with coentrao was going in for him late into the transfer Market after chasing Baines for a long time and the Real backing out cos they couldn't get the replacement- So again we will get Coentrao if Real have got a back up not us doing any thing sound or logical - what's wrong with you ppl we have Ed - f***ing do away with expectations please will'ya  We can't blame DM for not being quick learner if we won't do the same , you know  |

If DM is serious about Coentrao, why haven't we got him yet? He either needs PR lessons or zip his mouth shut. Yesterday's presser would only serve to get more fans on his back.

Forget whether he /Ed are working behind the scenes or whatever i wouldn't be surprised if we didn't actually do any business this summer , see Coentrao perform really well In WC , Real offer him a contract or go with some OTT silly bid to get him only end up resigning Fabio again in the end. Wait a minute that'd still mean a positive -- maybe i should change that to Evra  The fact that he didn't claim to be behind Messi or Benzema or Kroos or "the next so so" is in itself a big relief to me. There is enough Ammo in our performances as such we don't need more to be provided from press conferences as well to laugh at us |
