Buttner is an awful defender but I think if he was pushed forward into a left-midfield role he could really shine for us, but I don't think Moyes is prepared to try that.

Very quick to rule out a United extension. I would be carefull to just discard our skipper and leader, sorry forgot about WonderWayne, so hastily. Is his injury record that bad? He has looked a bit off the pace but it usually takes him q run to get going. Its not like replacements of his calibre are 2 a penny. Jalgielka anyone?
Has there been reports of a fall out?

I certainly dont want him to go. Knowing his history with the international side and being a quite private/family oriented man and having won most of everything with United... No i dont think there is a fall out, I think he wants to finish out his career closer to home, Italy. |

I think this outburst of his agent has to do with DD's totally moronic statement a while back where he explicitly states that Vidic wont be guaranteed a start ... Like he doesn't know that himself... Terrible man management, just terrible...

You simply don't put so much pressure (much of it public) to people who have been nothing but faithful servants to this club (Vidic, Pea, Evra, Kagawa, etc) while sucking up to the one person who has been everything but loyal - PHC. This kind of man management is tragical to say the least. No wonder some of the players do not put the same level of performances as they did under the previous management.
DD should fucking head to a corner and think about what the fuck he is doing.

Where did you get this? I can't find it on BBC or Sky. If this is true, and if Vidic wants away, we should stick with Evans and Jones / Smalling as first teamers. Get a new youngster in or promote one of our own as backup. Shame if this is true. Really love Vidic - always thought he might maybe retire here. |

We all love vidic, but his agent has always flirted with Italy. The player after 2 nightmare years is not the same.

Couldn't do worse than what is currently on offer. TBF he did do well against Swansea though. Is it right that it was Rene who suggested that we should get him? |

Didnt hear of Rene`s involvement, I do remember the Dutch scout claiming that Buttner was 5th out of the 5 prospects he scouted/recommended.
