I keep saying, Coleman is a lot like Baines last Summer, we all know he's quality, and would greatly improve the squad. But there's more pressing surgery in this squad before we spunk £15mill on a right back.

What difference does it make if we are going in for a much vaunted £200 mill overhaul, in getting Coleman earlier if that's what transpires, if all areas are going to be addressed, as the likes of Woodward are suggesting?? Nobody's denying that there's more pressing surgery in the squad, but if we are going for a radical overhaul, we're going to be spunking it anyway. Six of one and a half dozen of the other imo.

I didn't think there was a need for a right back until brain dead Dave came on the scene. He continues to play Smalling and sometimes Valencia at right back and they are both horrible there. Jones has the odd stint there and he looks awkward. We only have Rafeal. Moyes was chasing a left back in the summer. In January, he stopped chasing, but still sold a left back who could also play right and no replacement! Thick cunt. Fabio is having a bad season but I'd rather have seen him there than Smalling, Valencia or Jones.
I'm not saying we should buy Coleman because he'd cost too much but it think we need someone when Rafa is out. Maybe our 4th choice that we've seen in Holland...

Why spend the money on a player who, while being excellent this season, hasn't shown that he is definitely going to be that much better than our current, usually excellent, right back? Plus, NO MORE EVERTON AT OUR CLUB. If Klopp or Simeone came in and wanted Coleman that's a different matter.

He's very similar to Pizacek from Dortmund so Klopp might understandably be interested. But I just can't picture Klopp here, sadly.

Coleman showed yesterday why he is the very best full back in the league. I cannot understand how people would not want him at our club.

I don't want to look like a plonker beating the coleman drum all the time. I think he would improve us so much. In any case I actually think we have no hope in signing him. City or Chelskum will get him. I agree we have more pressing areas to address. New manager coming in now throws all cards back on the table. All suggested targets up to now can be binned and we start all over again.

Over-rated, over-priced, and defensively dreadful of late.

Over-rated, over-priced, and defensively dreadful of late. Fellaini springs to mind here. Shit under Moyes yet LVG made him too stop tripping over his own two feet and he has played ok. LVG could do his magic on Coleman IF we went for him and got him.
