Actual full coverage only start at 8pm UK time. Ridiculous really when you consider the last group teed off at 7ish our time. It's only the bloody Masters afterall. I've been watching since 7 and saw nothing but one shot from Rory and a load of drivel. Thanks for the info on the 8 o'clock slot. Wandered what was going on. No wonder people think Golf is boring.

Id put Jason Day as the best golfer in the world right now. Hope Rory wins though.

Day's already -3 thru 6 holes. Spieth going to post the leading score shortly, Rory's started well, Bubba -2 thru 7 and there's 8 British guys in the top 10 at the moment.
I think if Day plays his best golf he wins this week, as you say he's the best golfer in the world right now.

My brothers hooked my Dad up with a friend down there and he got to go to 2 Masters before he passed. One of the highlights of his entire life. Got them through one of the Doctors that little bro taught in Iowa City when he was going through his residency.
He has dad's folder of pictures from down there, the course is freeking unbelievable, just beautiful.
Both of them got a chance to go to St Andrews as well, said you have to carry a piece of astro turf to hit the shots off of.

On the Masters - Tiger Woods is not playing. It is a different Woods - Chris Woods - who is playing.

Chris Wood no s is playing. Golf doesn't need Tiger anymore, there's plenty of top class talent about to carry the game without him. That being said we'd all like to see him get back to his best and try and give these young guys a run for their money.

I think Tigers influence is a big part of why so many young guns are out there making a great deal of money. They are all about conditioning and work, and they come up onto the tour and there are no nerves. Those kids are freekin focused.
I love the game, but I also liked the characters. When I was stationed in Hawaii I followed The open all 4 years, (Hubert Green won 2 in row my first 2 tourneys) Fuzzy Zoeller was runner up, and he was fun to follow, and put on a hell of a party for his fans down on Hotel Row.
I get to follow seniors in Des Moines when they play there and enjoy that a whole bunch too
Tiger got the big bucks and set examples, but I liked the characters that played the game as well

Great performances from a lot of the English guys today. Unfortunately Spieth has upped it into turbo gear and is now 5 ahead. He really is something else. I've never seen anyone putt like he does.

Spieth on a meltdown. From -7 to -1 in one hole.
Willet now leads on -5. Westwood 1 behind.

What a fucking meltdown from Spieth. I'm torn now, I'd like to see an English winner with Willett or Westwood but I've backed Dustin Johnson!
