A win for FC United tonight will see them crowned champions and promoted to the Conference North. Not bad going in 10 years really. Especially as they have been playoff runners up in this division for the past 4 seasons.

I meant to say before, it's 1st vs 2nd place on saturday in the last game of the season, so if they fail to win today, its winner takes all at the weekend!

Torn on FC to be honest. There is that whole 'Upped and left when things went to shit' thing, but overall I'm always happy to see them do well. It's what they stand for as much as anything.

Like AFC Wimbledon it's a nice story of fan power, different(ish) circumstances but hope they do well and go far. The bigger they become the more of a warning it is to rich owners to respect the fans. |
