The money Salford are spending, and some of the players they have recruited, would suggest they are looking at first time promotion. Aye, think they've been favourites to win the National League for a while. Unfortunately for them I'm on them in my pre-season title winners acca, which means they'll probably get relegated. Saw something today about Nev having a spat with the chairman of Accrington because he was having a go at their spending and the fact he felt they'd be stealing a football league place from a proper club. |

Stockport County getting promoted made up for them, used to go watch quite a bit home and away with being my local team, plus free school tickets always helped, took 3500 away to Nuneaton today in the national league North incredible numbers for that league

new local owners
new manager Ian Evatt just signed a new deal
youth development organised with a route to first team with some the lads getting a chance this year.
looking bright for the future. everyone around the club now targeting to make League Football instead of just surviving in the league

Getting very tight at the top of the vauxhall conference (national League) Stockport have been superb since Xmas, really hoping they can pinch automatic, because Sutton in the play offs will be a tough game, can't wait to take my little lad to a match next season hopefully they will be in league two, because I won't be taking him old Trafford anytime soon.

Just shy of 8k fans at Stockport today, ridiculous numbers for the national League, honestly If any others here have a lower league team close to them I'd start to watch them, it's bloody brilliant.
