This is a thread for non-league fans or people who have an interest in the lower leagues of the footballing world! Do you support a team outside of the top 92?
My local team is Hayes & Yeading United who were relegated from the Conference South after a disaster of a season. But there is hope on the horizon as a couple of other teams have resigned from the league and apparently our lawyers are looking into an appeal as we speak. So of of yet we still don't know which league we will be playing in next season! lol

Had a season ticket at Wealdstone around 1990/91!
Edit: And I once scored a goal for Northwood in the early rounds of the FA Youth Cup!

Alty got promoted back to the Conference, and I have been known to go to FC United games too.

Gateshead's my local team. Chance to finally get back to the football league after being voted out over 50 years ago and they lose the bloody play off final!

I used to live in Hayes and back in the day (too long ago now) I used to know a couple of lads who played for Yeading...some of them were in our Sunday League team as I recall... I used to support Hillingdon Borough when they existed...then Wycombe Wanderers when I moved there...although they were just post M. O'Neill and in the league by then...

Blimey small world! lol But yeah I've followed Hayes FC since early 90's and went home and away for the early 00's until we merged with *spits* Yeading That's what prompted me to get my United season ticket in 2007! But I've got my mind round it nowadays and from time to time go to games and had a season ticket for a few seasons.

Yup, that's how they used to do it in those days. The bottom few teams of the 4th division and top few of the conference had to apply for re-election. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re-election_(Football_League)

Yeah, I remember the rivalry between Hayes and Yeading...must have been strange when they merged...my Sunday League team was based near Uxbridge and we used to play in the Hayes and District league...

It was. Hayes FC have lost our brilliant little ground in Church Road & now it seems all that's left of Hayes FC is the name in the new team name lol But that's me being a little resentful which I promise I'm not really lol
