Negativity can fuck off so it'll probably just be me, alone hanging out in my underwear. Things to be positive about:
DE GEA
Our youth players. When was the last time we played this many young players in one season? The class of 92?
We are hard to beat. Something I thought moyes would make us. He couldn't do it.
Top 4. We're currently in it. I'm confident that if we get in to the CL next season, we won't be going anywhere.
We're not Liverpool. Who would want to be them?

When was the last time we played this many young players in one season? The class of 92? - They'll be sold for pennies (or just leave without new contracts) in no time.We are hard to beat. Something I thought moyes would make us. He couldn't do it. - Hard to beat, hard to watch, hard to win.Top 4. We're currently in it. I'm confident that if we get in to the CL next season, we won't be going anywhere. - Two seasons ago we were Champions by eleven points and now we're finding fourth for cheer. This from a club who had never finished outside of the top three in the Premier League era. We're not Liverpool. Who would want to be them? - Nobody. Nobody wants to be them and an excellent point, well made.Sorry, had to. Good luck with your stinkin' free love hippy thread, Hippy. (Really though, it'd be nice if it worked. For example I still think we can win the League.)

This is my favorite place to hang as of this moment, great idea. Love what you've done with the place Aus. Other things to be positive about: We're not gash at home anymore, we've scored a few late winners, Blind looks incredible, We've sold most of the deadwood, Anderson is gone, Wilson is getting minutes and looks to be some player (possibly better than Welbz hopefully), Rojo looks fantastic, Shaw looks brilliant and it's easy to forget how young he is. Ben Pearson is looking good at Barnsley, Fosu-Mensah looks some player, We're bringing in great youngsters, Januzaj is getting minutes again, Herrera is still at the club and not whinging or kicking up a fuss, We've a decent chance at the F.A Cup All the players are still behind the manager, there looks to be a great team spirit at present (in stark contrast to last year's gloom), We've lost major experience all through the side and whilst we're on the ropes now and again, some players are sticking their hands up big time, De Gea, Rojo and Blind especially. We'll be making some good signings in the Summer, potentially signing a World Class defender, We're not with Nike anymore and will therefore have a gorgeous kit for a change Also - we're positively rolling in the cash.

If fourth place really something we are happy about now? Are we Arsenal? Spurs? We should never be happy with anything less than Champions, or a fighting, to-the-wire pipped into second by bad luck and trouble.

Let’s all be honest we all knew at the start of the season it wasn’t going to be pretty getting back to where we were, the game has moved on and it isn’t the same as when Ferguson took over and we are able to give managers time like he had but seriously, less than a season? We are supposed to be the club that gives them a chance!
To be honest if ugly, crappy football gets us back into Champions League then so be it. Wait and see what type of football he plays when he is in Champions League and has a full summer to get himself players he wants.
Short term pain for long term gain. CL means not paying as much in wages to attract top class talent, makes us attractable again and players wanting to come to us.
Yes we are playing awful football but we are on course and if season finishes like this we are back where we said we wanted to be. In Champions League.

It doesn't work like that. With patience we might get back to the top of the tree, but if we keep fretting about the humble steps we need to take in order to get there, and lose faith with every setback, we'll never succeed. The club is bigger than a rough patch, I genuinely don't think we need to be so down about our prospects.

I wanted to be in this thread, but I cant stand you in an underwear We will scrape through to 4th We will reach the finals of FA cup LvG will stay for atleast one more season We will concede in the 1st half of most games and will make astonishing comebacks to draw our away games DDG will sign a new contract and will be sold to Madrid for £120m in the summer We will sign an injury-prone Strootman and out of form Hummels RvP will score 14 in the next 14 and stay for one more season at the expense of Falcao Now who will decide whether the above mentioned are positives or not
