Morgan is normally not "outspoken" does his job, very well, then starts preparing for next match. This is what I was talking about when I said it looked to me like some of the older players are taking leadership roles. That and I think the kids are reminding the older guys just how much fun the game is when you are playing it the way they are now. An the "veterans" aren't very damn old. I am back on the insanely optimistic train and I'm freekin staying on for the ride.

Just be careful Gramps...the let down could be massive... But I surely hope not as I am having little optimistic feelings too - just trying to keep things in check 'cos after all it is only 3 games and only one against a 'proper' team... If we can win the next few in style then maybe I'll let myself believe... Trouble with kids can be their lack of consistency but I do like what I've seen in the last few games... BTW, it has nothing to do with the Mad One...he has just got lucky IMO...

BTW, it has nothing to do with the Mad One...he has just got lucky IMO... I agree 100% with that, I also find myself wondering if some of the past strokes of genius, like Inesta or Muller or Schweinie , have been epiphany(s) driven by need as a result of injuries. Isn't that pretty much what happened last season around boxing day when United went on that run of good form that took United to the CL. I'm starting to think that perhaps LvG likes Absinthe, would help explain his short term memory loss. Seemed that it was Ander getting into the line up that got the ball rolling. Behind an injury wasn't it?? "It was a question of fighting - Playing for the Badge and for the Fans." I base a great deal of my optimism on my view that this improvement is being driven by some strong leadership from several players. An I believe it is came from their pride. Prime example is Memphis. He took some silly ass crap about his tatoos, his hat, his car. Kid is young, but he has worked his ass off to get to play at OT, and it looks to me like he has remembered that he can flat out fooking play. Right now, the players have their heads up, and they are playing for their teammates, and it will continue to get better match by match, and while there will most certainly be mistakes, I'm sure that the errors will be tempered by many moments of quality that will get people up on their feet , both on and off the ball. I got as low about United footy as I've ever been, just absolutely frustrated me beyond the ken to see LvG operate, but I am seriously stoked right now with being able to watch United put together another run that should see the fooking bin dipping critters, and all the other lesser skunks sniveling. WOOF!

Congratulations to Morgan Schneiderlin, the jammy bastard. He just got engaged. Met the lady in the club an Adidas shop!

06/04/2016 07:53, Report by Gemma Thompson SCHNEIDERLIN PLEASED WITH HIS PROGRESSION Morgan Schneiderlin believes he has made some pleasing progress during his first season with Manchester United, but insists he is striving to improve every day.
Since joining from Southampton in the summer, the French midfielder has been one of the team's most solid performers this term. The 26-year-old is thoroughly enjoying life as a Red so far and, while he admits there is still more to come, he is happy with the steps forward he has made. "When I first came I had big expectations and, of course, I wanted to play for the title and I wanted to have a big impact straight away on everything. It’s a new philosophy and a new thing to take on board," he explained in an interview with MUTV before the Everton match. "I had some good games and a good spell but there’s a lot of competition and so even in my time when I didn’t play every game I was still learning, still trying to improve and doing my best. "Since the weeks went on in the season I’ve felt better and better and of course I know I have plenty more to show to everyone and plenty more in my locker." Despite the disappointment of not being involved in the title race, Louis van Gaal's men still have plenty to play for with a top-four finish on offer and an Emirates FA Cup quarter-final replay to come. "We look game by game, we’re not looking too far ahead but we know that we have some big games coming, like Leicester and Tottenham and the FA Cup and we want to win everything and make sure we finish very strong," Schneiderlin insisted. "Of course we are all disappointed not to play for the title, but in football you never know what can happen so we will try to finish as strong as possible. "Hopefully the teams who are in front will drop some points and we can capitalise on that." www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2016/Apr/Morgan-Schneiderlin-pleased-with-progress-in-first-year-at-manchester-united.aspx

I'm going to throw out an unpopular opinion; I'm not really impressed with Morgan. Me too he`s been steady nothing more but Iv put most of it down to LvG`s playing strategy because he seems to choke the life out of anything resembling creativity, I think a better manager would get a lot more from him.

I think he's been better the last couple of months but no doubt I'm expecting more from him and I think we'll get that next season.

I'm going to throw out an unpopular opinion; I'm not really impressed with Morgan. Who has he mostly been paired with? If you look exclusively at matches he has played Herrera as his partner he has been much better.

I'm going to throw out an unpopular opinion; I'm not really impressed with Morgan. I've not been impressed with anyone who has been partnered in midfield with one of Carrick/Fellaini. Compare his performances when paired with Ander with those of the above 2 excuses for CM's. Not to mention getting dropped all the fucking time for not being one of those 2.

Who has he mostly been paired with? If you look exclusively at matches he has played Herrera as his partner he has been much better. I've not been impressed with him then either Bar Martial, De Gea and Smalling, Blind and Lingard in patches most of the senior squad have been disappointing. That being said, can't agree with the Schneiderlin evaluation. When he's been allowed to play, especially with the right partner I've loved seeing an actual, competent midfielder in our shirt for a change. If we could only start Schneiderlin and Herrera for the remaining matches we'd have a great chance of getting not only 4th, but 3rd.
