When top coaches start choosing City over this club, then that tells you a lot about where we are. I expect City to dominate for the next 2 or 3 seasons now because they have the players and a manager who isn't a tactical lemon. I just wouldn't trust Woodward to take this club through the next transfer window. Look at the mess he's made already. I agree. Not just a manager but a top manager. Good luck to us.

Set the quality aside but look at the impact of gegenpressing on pool's players. Most couldn't cope with the intensity. Don't you think Pep's high octane press would have similar consequences? Better fit is exactly what am talking about. Toure could not or wasn't bothered to play at required tempo for entire 90 min. He is 6 yrs older now. Anyway, I have been resigned to see Pogba boss it for them since he was spotted in Manchester around xmas time. All I'm saying is, there is more of a rebuild to do than many think not that he won't be a success. Expect Pep to average 1 trophy/season when he s done That doesn't mean liverpools players won't adapt to it after a good pre-season. New ideas take time to gel, if there the right ones that is. The kind of pressing Guadiolas teams use isn't just about fitness but regimental coaching to always be in the right position to press the ball. An intense press becomes super effective if your players only have to press 5 to 10 yards instead of 15 to 20. Once Liverpools players adjust tactically then it becomes a lot easier, that's why they blow out after 60 minutes. Pools squad is pretty piss poor. And virtually all of their strikers are injured. We have a way better squad. It's just that LvG can't get a tune out of them on a consistent basis. Absolutely HATE Mourinho and the toxic way he behaves, but I have to say I believe he will get our pretty decent squad playing at a higher level than LvG has and he'll definitely take the fight to Pep.

It's Mourinho or Pochettino. Mourinho! If the mirror article is true, I think he will be the next manager this summer.

Mourinho is better than Guardiola. Well according to the dodgy Four Four Two magazine, that is, which rate him as the best in the world in 2015. Guardiola is all the way down at No. 2 spot. If we can overlook Mourinho's shameful public naming of players, his brutal and unacceptable treatment of Eva Carneiro, his breakdown, his arrogance and embarrassing press performances... www.fourfourtwo.com/features/fourfourtwos-50-best-football-managers-world-2015#:w_dylFGUGAYEMAThen if you look at the current FIFA Coach rankings they'll tell you the opposite (as Mourinho is no longer coach of anywhere so his rank has dropped down to 42, haha). www.coachworldranking.com/ranking-coaches.aspxps. have you seen No. 41 in the link above - is this a wind-up? ?

As far as I'm concerned, all of the negativity surrounding the club has started with this guy. Clearly as things stand this job is too big for him - it's time to either rethink the responsibilities of the chief executive at the club and hire a director of football, or bring someone else that is considerably more capable decisive.

He brings in the cash so he has free rein to be as much of a tit as possible. The football side of this club is an inconvenience to some of the money men shamelessly milking this club for as much as they can can.

The only significant achievement of Woodward’s reign to date would seem to be that of making Manchester City a more attractive destination than United for the world’s most sought after coach, Pep Guardiola. Spot on.

Just read that. Fantastic article, in the context of us as a club, frightening.
