Also, virtually no pasta. EVER. Weight drops off. I eat macaroni cheese at least twice a week. That explains why I'm fat as fuck.

Also, virtually no pasta. EVER. Weight drops off. That's easy, I hate pasta. Do you have any sort of routine you use for the sprinting? I'm Deffo up for giving it a go, as well as the green smoothie suggestion.

If your excercising and burning it off then pasta isn't too bad for you. I tend to eat plenty of it when I'm gyming it and it does no harm.
Its not so much about what you it is, it's more down to the portion sizes. Its about portion control with pasta. Its a good source of carbs, which you need in moderation. Also it helps what you have with it. Pointless having layers of cheese with it as it won't do any good. Add veg or fish and its a different thing altogether.

I can take the reigns for a minute and say if you want to move to America, the answer is simple. DON'T. The closest you can be to Old Trafford is about 3, 000 miles. And that's living in Maine. Nobody wants to move to Maine. To be fair, I loved Maine. Lovely people. Probably wouldn't be my choice to live there over other states we've preferred but I take your OT point.

Dear Rustin Cohle I need some advice on how to remain focused during a weight loss campaign. I have tried many times before, and have lost a couple of stones on two separate occasions, but I always lapse back to my old ways, and undo all the good work I had put in previously. My goal is 5 stones, but would settle on four (although, to be honest, anything that would stop me looking into a hairdressers mirror and not being able to identify which chin is hanging over the apron would be a start) Dear Soapy, I'm not the best with weight loss advice, simply because I've never had to undertake any regimes myself. I suppose the answer is to find a routine that you enjoy rather than tolerate, so that you can stay on it once the weight is already gone, but that is easier said than done. The other key is to have a support network that can help you when times are tough - I hope you have one at home, but if not, as you can see from the replies you've recieved you have a ready made one on RoM. Lots of love, Rustin

I gave the smokes up 15 years ago. Mentally I really wanted to do it, so I succeeded and have never missed it. I suppose weight loss is very similar. Change your routines, diet etc and it should make all the difference. The biggest battle is in your head. I've cut down portion sizes since mid December and lost 3 kg. I'm not fat but I was starting to get a bit of spread around the middle! I use the stairs at work instead of the elevator. And as I said earlier fruit and veg.

I was fucking huge a few years back and just stopped eating all processed shit, started eating a more balanced diet with plenty of fresh food and most importantly got off my ass and started to exercise. I lost 7 1/2 stone. So yeah, it really is as simple as having a balanced diet and moving about more.

Over on the Summer Transfers thread, Bestie needed comforting and cheering up regarding Mikhitaryan's immanent transfer. (see image) Rustin Cohle provided just that. I propose this as a new thread wherein we make requests to Rustin, or explain some issue we're having, and he puts a positive spin on it for us. I'll go first. Dear Rustin: I am very sad over the idea that Mata will be sold, especially to Everton. Has everyone forgotten his goals against the Scousers? Yours truly, H. Dear H, This is a tough one; I too am fearful of this eventuality. Juan Mata is a beautiful man with a beautiful beard, and his loss from this club would pierce the soul of many a United fan. However, I attempt to take solace from a few things: Jose's change in tone at his United press conference from his Chelsea years, the fact that he seems to see through Rooney (hence he may wish to keep Mata around), and the improvement in Mata's defensive output since he joined United. This answer certainly isn't as convincing as the one I gave Bestie, but in dark times it may be all we have to hold on to. Nevertheless, we must continue to hope. Lots of love, Rustin Not to toot my own horn, but in retrospect this answer looks good

Dear Rustin: Here's a picture of me at a party last weekend thrown by the industry within which I am a respected member. We also have an annual awards show, and you can see me holding the gong I was awarded for my work during the year. Here's the thing though: some dumb motherfucker gave out the wrong envelope and created a total shit storm. What am I supposed to do? I have literally just been awarded the highest accolade in my trade, yet my friends got a giant televised bucket of cold water thrown in their faces. Do I act sad? Glad? Do I mention it in every interview? Tell me. Thanks, E.S.
