Haha, why not! I am ready for the liberals to come at me. Don't worry, at least you didn't have Facebook friends delete you over your political views or be called a racist, xenophobe, bigot or any other name in the book because you don't see the world the way they do. Hell, I was uninvited to a Thanksgiving dinner because I voted for Trump. Plus, the worst of it is at universities where if you are a conservative or leaning right at all, you will be hated, and you have to keep your head down. It is pathetic. I would have uninvited you aswell

You should try not being a complete condescending little prick sometimes. It's not as hard as you make it out to be. You may just come off as a decent person. The New York Times is a worthless newspaper company which lost all credibility for its stories which have been proven false. The Mainstream media wanted Hill to win because it keeps the status quo. They are not journalists but political hacks now. To my English friends on here, Trump and the Trump Whitehouse will put the special relationship we have had for years first. He loves Farage and see's the importance of a strong U.K and U.S relationship. You think they will appoint Farage ambassador?

Clever boy, look what you did! Congratulations. Everybody take a deep breath and stop acting like Donald fucking Trump. Jill Stein has spearheaded a movement for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Over $ 2.5 million raised for Wisconsin and they need about $ 500, 000 for Michigan and $ 800, 000 for Pennsylvania, I think. Flip those states and things get interesting. Those Profs that are labeled as experts on the system said that it would only take about 50,000 votes to change things around if they were in the right districts. As much as I dislike Trump, and have major concerns based on his lack of qualifications, and his lack of really giving a damn for the image he presents, like pissing an moaning on Twitter, and more I hope that these things don't come up with proof that there was hacking or an "engineered" problem with the election. That could really blow the lid off and result. Trump has already shown he doesn't care for the rules (like calling Clintons foundation "illegal" and now facing proof his Charity was using their money for his businesses) and bottom line, IMO, the voters for both Candidates are fooking fringe lunatics and capable of inciting violence in the streets. So far "peace" has been the rule for the protests, but I believe any large group like that is a powder keg This is just starting to get wound up, and I think the press is just licking their chops and carrying huge fooking paddles with their pencils, just itching to start stirring the shit.

I hate to hear stuff like that. Makes no sense. This whole "liberals vs Conservatives" started getting out of hand back in 2008,and is getting worse and worse. I count myself as neither Liberal or Conserv, I voted in a write in for my lady an her daughter. An i think it was voters like me and those who refused to go to the polls that swung the election, people supporting Trump voted. That was first time I didn't cast a ballot for a viable candidate in my life. All this BS that went on before the election and is going on now is being manipulated by groups. The "protests" that started out on hte West Coast came from a a group in Oakland, basically professional rabble rousers is how I understand them. People, maybe better word would be "sheeple", in this country are basically far to easily led. They tend to let others form opinions for them. This whole us vs them thing, when the country is in such deep kimchee really blows. Right now the press is taking great joy in stirring shit up, trying to scare hell out of people and it seems to be working. Frightened people react in radical and stupid ways. cooler heads really need to prevail .

I lean more to our left which is labour but the Liberal party did fantastic things. In The US the word Liberal has become an insult but it really means nothing. The republicans were the first U.S liberals. It just doesn't define people. Both parties just won't play ball with each other at all and it's created a stupid situation which has allowed the "alt right" in. Something's gotta give somewhere along the line. I fucking hate politics. Don't know why I'm even doing this to myself.

Then i remember that simpsons episode with the aliens and someone saying "we'll vote for a 3rd party candidate" and the aliens saying "go ahead, throw your vote away". How the hell ye have gone so long without any 3rd party candidate (or a completely new party altogether) making some headway is crazy. Especially after the last election - the Monster Raving Loony party would have got more votes.

Trump isn't a politician my friend. I can say it on here; it's the internet my feelings won't get hurt. The American leftist politics has become too progressive that they fundamentally believe that their views on how the world should work are fundamentally right. Everyone else is either a racist, bigot, xenophobe and anti-Semite. That is just plainly wrong. Furthermore, the liberal left has won the cultural war things must be PC on college campuses and even in the workforce because if you say something wrong you can be fired. This is why we are called the silent majority. A long good explanation of why I voted for Donald Trump was actually on Reddit on his supporters page. www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/5bnmiu/undecided_voters_here_is_why_you_should_vote/

It may be hyperbole but its still brilliant: "Clinton has spent her whole political life building up to the election. Only to be beaten by a businessman who took it up last summer as a hobby"

How the hell ye have gone so long without any 3rd party candidate (or a completely new party altogether) making some headway is crazy. Especially after the last election - the Monster Raving Loony party would have got more votes. #1 I did vote for a full ballot. There is an option to write in a candidate on the ballot, and as she is citizen and old enough, it was actually a legit vote for both her and her daughter #2 All the presidential candidates we, IMO just awful. I thought about it for a long time before I did that, and as all elections, local and Fed that are up are on the same ballot I just wrote Dianne in for the Pres and then voted for the candidates in the others. Another "quirk" for me is the Judges that are on the ballot. I always vote against the sitting judge, and for a new candidate. Figure that is a position where there is a lot of Country Club type wheeling and dealing so I vote to change it every chance I get to do so. I think it would be a huge thing if we could be term limits on our politicians and not just the Pres. Some of those old shitbirds in Congress fall asleep during televised proceedings There are normally 5 to 6 candidates for Pres every time. Libertarians, Green, Communist/Socialist etc. They are not significant because of the money involved in getting one of them elected. What I dislike intensely is the Supreme Court decision to determine Corporations are people, so they can throw millions an millions at the candidates. An the Candidates (Congress) vote their own raises and pretty much set rules for campaigns. They actually get to keep their "war chests" so any money donated that isn't spent is theirs. They retire at 6 figure money paid to them, and each time they vote themselves a raise, the Pols that are retired get that added to their retirements as well. Situation is kinda like having the inmates run the asylum.

A long good explanation of why I voted for Donald Trump was actually on Reddit on his supporters page. www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/5bnmiu/undecided_voters_here_is_why_you_should_vote/An conservatives want to run the country using the Bible, and Teabaggers carried guns to rallies for Sarah Palin and basically the real problem is labels that are put on the parties that are actually labeling the fringe loonies for both parties. I think majority of the people that I know both Repub and Dem are more central than conservative or liberal An while the fringe loonies are getting all the press and making all the noise, the people in the Center ae face palming themselves and saying this time they won't vote. I wish that this whole party thing would GTFA and people that care about the country and can see that we all have to take charge of our damn govt using our votes to do it would work together. Far as Trump, I hope that the people that voted for him don't realize they were somewhat mistaken in their evaluation of the man. I could see nothing in his past but Greed, and a willingness to not bother with "rules" For our Countries' sake, I do hope I am wrong. For me, looking at the two candidates available, and reading everything I could about them that is available, the whole thing was lose lose for me. I could not, in good concision vote for anyone that was on the ballot after doing the basic research into their political records, voting records if they voted, etc. I've done that since I first was old enough to vote, I take it seriously This year was the first time I just could not cast a vote for the candidates available. EDIT I noticed you had some problems with how the college campuses treated Trump voters. Can't remember which school it was, think it was Berkley, but there was a big University where the students were given a poll, and asked to vote for either Hillary, Trump, or the Earth being destroyed by an asteroid. The Asteroid got like 58 percent of the votes.

The world is not getting too PC. Why should you be saying things on a campus or at work that could get you fired. You would have to say something pretty wrong to get fired for saying something. You might find a few obscure examples of people getting fired for no reason but in general there's an ettiquette at work and Uni that is common decency and should be adhered too. In your own home or with your mates drinking a beer say what the hell you want but you can't go to work saying all kinds of shit, that's how work works. People aren't fighting for PC. I don't give a flying fuck about PC. Equal rights for all people is right up the top of my list. Too progressive is also a term I don't understand. You want us to stop getting better? The world was not a better place in my Grandads time. I know that for a fact.

and I respect your opinon my friend . Maybe I was not clear enough because I am assuming my target audience is generally from the United States. For example, if on campus if you do not share ideological views of a left-winger you will not be hired. They don't hire individuals who are conservatives, and they silence all opposition because discussing different ideas can "trigger students." At university, you are supposed to be subjected to different schools of thought, from Marks to Smith and to discuss these ideas. This is what it means to the public intellectual and a university student. Now it is not the case; you get fewer points on a paper for example if the professor disagrees with your opinion not the factual evidence for the subject. People are fighting PC, and the election was a backlash against the liberalism and globalism. Progressives are not open to debating ideas as shown and will label you something if you are for a different side. An excellent article which discusses these ideas are here: reason.com/blog/2016/11/09/trump-won-because-leftist-political-corrI think everyone is here for equal rights, although there is a difference between conservatives and the left in regards to opportunity and outcomes. Conservatives want everyone to have an equal chance to become as successful as they want. I don't care if you are black, white, orange or purple if you want to start a business do it. If you fail, that is on you. The left believes government knows the best how to run things and want people to be economically similar. Equal outcomes do not mean equal opportunity which is the fundamental difference between the two schools of thought. Trump is a businessman he created an empire and H was part of the system which people hated.
