He also most likely be a drooling mess inside of 2 years with Vance waiting in the wings. That’s the truly frightening prospect. I think I mentioned this a few pages back, and had two DMs from folks who agree (but felt a little, er, suppressed in this thread) - Vance has made a name for himself in this election cycle. Expect he'll be the GOP candidate in 2028, with someone like Tulsi Gabbard as Veep. |

He will gut American healthcare - poor Americans will have to choose between going bankrupt or losing loved ones. He will help his billionaire friends crush the working class even more. He will reduce lgbt and women’s rights even further. He will gut the EPA and American ecology and environment. He will appoint nutjobs like RFK to Health roles - whose latest crusade is against fluoride by the way. And of course, he will use office to get richer and help his dictator friends. What I hope is for the rest of the world to use this opportunity to divest from American interest, politics and influence. |

Only in America. Curious to see if this materializes, Trump currently leading the popular vote by around 5 million from what I can tell. |

What I hope is for the rest of the world to use this opportunity to divest from American interest, politics and influence. This is what I was talking about, it's already happening. The combined GDP of BRICS is currently at 29% of the global total, versus 43% for the G7 countries. Considering the number of pending new members that will join BRICS, that margin is going to decrease even more. Add to that public declarations of large nations dropping the petro-dollar, and the decline of the US empire and global hegemony (long term) is assured. |

I think what has become clear is that the most audible, seemingly popular views (talking outside of RoM here, so don't take this the wrong way) don't necessarily equate to the dominant/popular opinion of the US electorate. New York Times reporting Trump is on course to be the first Republican to win the popular vote in 20 years. |
