Can only judge them on what they have done. And so far their records are similar. Poch has time on his hands and all it will take is one trophy to beat Moyes but until he actually does it he is on a par with him (along with plenty of other managers too). Liverpool broke all sorts of records in the CL & city are apparently the greatest PL team ever, but until they actually turn up with a trophy or 3 (hello Treble) then their records are worth fuck all. People are going on about Wenger being the longest serving manager and all that shit. I actually heard a pundit mention how Fergie must be sitting at home regretting retirement, especially with Arsenal going unbeaten that time. Yes, im sure Wenger taking Arsenal through an unbeaten season (years ago) and hanging on at least 6 years too long is really going to trouble Fergie and all his Winners medals. I am wary of how he treated the league cup and to some extent, I agree. However, I wouldn't go to the length of putting him alongside Moyes just for the trophies. You can tell by looking at them that City are a bunch of utter pricks though. Sterling, De Bruyne, Fernandinho and that Ederson in particular need a good slapping. Good to hear the younger lads like Rashford and Shaw getting stuck in as well as the older nutters. To be fair, I don't buy into that dressing room pseudo-tribalism. All this happened after those young nutters were on the football field for 90 minutes, where they had the chance to get one over those City players. If their celebrations were so irritating our young nutters should have reacted to their second goal celebrations on the pitch when they still had 40 minutes to do so. I don't follow United for slapping or boxing reasons, and to be absolutely honest I don't give two fucks as for which side won the dressing-room handbags. |
