Well it's a win but god that was shite. Barely threatened until the last 15 minutes yet still managed to bore the shit out of me and arrogantly coast into allowing West Brom back into the game before barely hanging on.

Can't complain about the 3 points and it's another goal to boost Lukaku's confidence, but I'm just so sick of United failing to see games out and thinking they've won a game after 70 minutes.

Haven't read the comments and didn't have the RoM play-by-play. Did that look like a stamp on DeGea at the end there that will be punished retroactively? Looked to me like Hegazi intentionally trod on his calf, very nasty.

Normally at half time I find something else to do besides watch the studio commentary but today I didn't and they had a good little piece on how Mata was at the heart of both goals, how much he was encouraging his teammates (Matic, in the first instance) to come forward and get involved, how much movement and creativity he has. Anyway, good little gold star for Johnny Death.

That aside, the only thing I find not hateful about WBA is the bird on their badge. Hate to see Evans playing for such a bunch of cunts. Brunt, Hegazi, Rodriguez, Rondon, Barry all got away with repeated shitty fouls. Cunts.
Glad to see McTominay get some more game time. Thought Young did a decent job at right back, very worried about Valencia. The last hammy (Pogba?) kept the player out for 8 games or so.

Martial did very well but again the 79th minute sub seems a little late to give him enough time to really influence things. Lingard notches another goal, Stone Cold!

We got the 3 points, all that matters at the end of the day I suppose. Thought we looked panicked after their goal, and they looked more likely to equalize than for us to get another. We had some panicky clearances, against West Effing Brom.
