Nev is right, far too many touches on the ball, particularly from the midfield. You can't unlock these deep defences by playing slow, predictable football in the final 3rd.

We are not too aggressive on the final third. They've been closing the gaps and we don't seem to be able to pass through them.

There's been quite a few opportunities for fast counter attacks that have been squandered in favour of slowing it down, passing sideways and tapping it around in neat little triangles without actually going anywhere. Just bloody run at them! It's like watching a van Gaal team at the moment.

Was Herrera this average last season and we just overpraised him or has he lost all his confidence and gone completely off the boil this season?
I can't think of 1 decent performance from him this season.

I take that back actually as I can’t single out Herrera alone - the whole teams distribution is fucking pathetic. Playing a team like WBA and we’re still playing so many hopeful punts up the pitch.
No creativity, rhythm or quality on the ball, it’s tripe.
