We have had 18 month of performances like this with a couple of realy good games, jose isnt going to change anytime soon, so aslong as he is in charge this will be the football plain and simple no amount of transfers will change the way he approaches games So who replaces him?

It just might have been. I cannot believe it and I can't fucking stand the insubordination of it all. Fun fact - I was booted off my football team when I was 13 for refusing to play in midfield, I was a goalie at the time mind but still. The only thing that surprised me in that sentence was that you were a goalie.

Issue with the captaincy situation is none of them already at the club are captain material. Hard to go out and sign a player and make him your captain instantly. I'd say Bailly would be a contender but I still think he's too reckless and raw. After the genuine attempt to re-organise the team yesterday we should maybe consider Jones for the role but he'll probably be injured in a week or two so we'll have to find another. De Gea maybe? I don't normally think who the captain is, is a massive deal but with how sorely we lack leaders in this side I think we need a strong one now more than ever. Given my comments about him in the past this may sound odd BUT Valencia is probably a good candidate for captain. Gives 100%, plays well every game, been here longer than most.

Always played there, loved diving about in mud and grass especially in winter down the park after it had been raining. Go home looking like Muk from pokemon and my mum going mad

I hope to hell we win our other games coming up , I can't entertain the thought of Xmas being fucked up by shit results.
I still think on the positive side of things we have made progres
We have the spine of a good team De Gea , Bailey, Pogba, Matic, Lukaku
Plus good players like Mata Ligard Valencia Jones Lidelof
We have some good youngster who to be fair if we had a stronger squad they probably wouldn't be relied on so much and show the immaturity Jose is refering to
We need a left back if Shaw is not to be trusted
We need fast world class wingers who can contribute goals
I still think we need a centre back that doesn't get injured
We probably need another central midfielder
We then need to ship out Blind Anders Mkhitaryan Darmian Fellaini
Come on Santa pull your fucking finger out I've been a good boy this year

yesterday was an embarrassment all round. lack leadership was embarrassing, the lack of killer instinct and decision making in front of goal was embarrassing. the draw was embarrassing smalling being left to mark anyone in that box with his injury was embarrassing.
Jose has a job on his hands and he needs to do what he is paid so well to do, sort our this mess. 13 point gap in December is embarrassing and we have ourselves to blame

If Herrera did refuse to go to right back after Jones told him to, then shouldn't José have ordered him to do it if that's in fact what he wanted? I mean, that's literally his job to organise the team. That's what he gets paid for. It's weird, because I can remember Herrera going to right back for the last 5 minutes of a game last season (can't remember who against) and he did it no problem.
I've calmed down about it all today. The title has been gone for ages, and the other big sides drew anyway, so it's whatever now. It was infuriating yesterday because I could see it coming a mile off, but there was sod all I could do about it.

I think you mean Vuhlencia? Nah, I only spell names like that when I really don't like players. He's earned his correct name now.

Actaully - Question here. If Jones was trying to reorganise the team and Herrera just said no, what was Pogba actually doing? He was the captain after all. Probably too busy dabbing or checking his hair.

Honestly i dont know there is a few out there who i like, but the problem isnt just changing the manager the whole clubs mentality needs to change, we dont seem to buy well in the market to many players who aint good enough attitudes need to change. The club needs a overhaul from top to bottom for me and try and get our identity back, i dont know how we do that but this football at the minute isnt the way tho

Probably too busy dabbing or checking his hair. Was saying at the time fair play to Jones for taking charge. First time I've seen somebody take charge at the back for as long as I remember. But as you say Pogba should have done something. This is where experience needs to take president over the armband being a fashion accessory. Disappointed Herrera refused to move to the right aswell if it is indeed true. Expected more from him given his usual passion for the cause.

I see the ground expansion has been shelved.

Jose having a real go at the players in the press and I have no problem with that. This result had nothing to do with his tactics. This game again highlighted our lack of leadership in the squad, which is why bringing in an experienced defender like Evans who came thru the United ranks and understands the club wouldn’t be a bad idea. We were able to continue our success under Fergie because we always had a solid base of experienced United players to help bring the young players thru. Carrick could only do so much now and Rooney was a piss poor example on how a professional footballer should conduct himself. There will be growing pains with some of our most important and influential players being in their early to mid 20’s.
If our supporters want Jose out who’s the alternative? I’ve said Leonardo Jardim of Monaco, as it would seem he has a good record working with young players. Pochettino for the same reasons but again there will be the same growing pains, as we’re experiencing now.

He's always been pointer in chief . He's a mediocre midfield player and he does that job of mediocrity really well.
