Really? I'm pretty sure Valencia cant speak english fluently so how will he communicate? I think that one of SET / BESTIE / TATTY mentioned that he actaully can speak English pretty well. I remember he did a presser with the help of an interpreter and Van Gaal couldn't believe it when he found Valencia didn't speak English and made him have lessons.

Valencia is a decent choice for now. You can make a case for Matic too based on his experience. Shows how underwhelming the options are right now.

I have to say, I don't think Herrera deserves the criticism he's getting. Been totally blown out of proportion. It makes sense for a CM, who already had defensive responsibilities that he was carrying out, to expect the right winger to pull his weight and help out in defence while we were a man down.

Jose having a real go at the players in the press and I have no problem with that. This result had nothing to do with his tactics. This game again highlighted our lack of leadership in the squad, which is why bringing in an experienced defender like Evans who came thru the United ranks and understands the club wouldn’t be a bad idea. We were able to continue our success under Fergie because we always had a solid base of experienced United players to help bring the young players thru. Carrick could only do so much now and Rooney was a piss poor example on how a professional footballer should conduct himself. There will be growing pains with some of our most important and influential players being in their early to mid 20’s. If our supporters want Jose out who’s the alternative? I’ve said Leonardo Jardim of Monaco, as it would seem he has a good record working with young players. Pochettino for the same reasons but again there will be the same growing pains, as we’re experiencing now. I remember plenty of times when Evans was less than composed in games. I don't think wasting more money in areas that are well stocked is a good idea either. We have too many lightweights in this team. Herrera has become a passenger. I will be pissed off if we don't move on some players in January.

The plot thickens. Either Neville fucked up or Herrera is covering up .

Maybe Neville just misread something and its been blown out of proportion. It did sound out of character for Ander. Who knows if it’s true? I suppose as long as Jose knows the truth and acts accordingly that’s what matters.
