Thank fuck for the fast forward button, without which I would of wasted far much more of my life this season.
I want to see a manager leading a team thay plays football like the 2 good halves against Pool and City for the majority of the time, not once in a miraculous moon when the “stars” (tongue firmly in cheek) align and put on a rare show.
JM clearly isn’t the man to provide that.

How did we lose to West Brom? Slowly, and then all at once.

If he stays on next season, we all know he probably isn't going to change the style and if that happens it's going to have a knock-on effect of a toxic situation, most certainly at Old Trafford, which by all accounts could really end in tears.
Which again, one thing leads to another, could well leave us stratching around for a new manager a couple of months into next season, because the likes of Woodward was totally convinced Jose was going to do the business during his third season, initially.
Really don't think Jose is the right fit for us, regardless of the decent results.
If we go out of the FA Cup, could well be curtains for him (regardless of Woodwards assurances/ extension of Jose's contract).
Can you imagine it on here?

We're in the champions league next season (almost) so they won't sack Jose, regardless of the cup. Champions league revenue is what they want.
Anyway, the manager has taken us from 6th to 2nd and won 2 trophies in that time. The football is awful, but he won't be going soon. Only way is if he starts like he did during his last Chelsea season. Nobody wants that. I'm in the 'won't be upset if he stays or goes' group.
Get used to him being here guys.

Jose on today's match, and his players' attitudes. Article stated he was singling out Pogba's performance.
“Probably because I won eight championships, I was not in the moon with the victory against them [City]. It was only three points. That didn’t make me feel super happy and, in my opinion, it affected some of the people that were too happy. I have lots of experience because I won eight titles and I was not over the moon ... but I saw lots of people who were on the moon. During the week I was trying to fight that. With my experience you don’t titles with inconsistency. You win, of course, with quality, but with consistency in every level, not just the performance level but also the mental level. One of the things we have to improve is consistency.”

The young players like Pogba need to listen.

Just sitting here, thinking to myself... I knew we were going to be in a bit of bother when Fergie departed, but I never thought we would be 3 managers in, with essentially mundane, predictable, crass football to endure most weeks. Thought if we went down, we'd go down fighting, having a go, even that hasn't happened, when it has it's been welcome but been a rarity. Can understand those expecting Jose to stay on next season but if we don't win the FA Cup, he's going to be under a shit-load of pressure. Fans aren't going to put up with it, regardless of contracts. Also, they're certainly not going to put up with a similar style of mundane football next season. I've had enough of it. Right now. One thing to consider all 3 out of contract or available. Moyes, allowed his contract to run down presumably to take the job. Van Gaal not sure if he was out of contract with the Holland national team Jose sacked by Chelsea out of contract. What is the thinking behind our appointments? Moyes imo was hired with a view to stability and longevity. Without Fergie he would have never been considered. Won feck all. When did no trophies = suitable candidate. They thought they had another Fergie in the making with no evidence to back it up. Van Gaal decent CV but got sacked by Munich and Barca (twice I think) but in hindsight were his best days behind him ? Won the league with different European clubs with a decent pedigree. Jose should have been hired when Fergie retired imo. So why now but not then? In a nutshell do our decision makers have a fecking clue? Is there a plan? Are we pro active or reactive? Is the manager being pushed into making galactico type players to keep the sponsors happy ?

This.
The owners don't care if we're playing sparkling football.
They don't care if we are winning, or even challenging for, the title.
They probably do care if young academy kids are getting into the team, but only because 2 or 3 quality young players coming through saves them 100M plus in transfer fees, can even make money by selling players off to make room for them.
They care about getting into the Champions League and the revenue that makes. Moyes was sacked because we weren't getting top 4. Van Gaal was sacked because he didn't get top 4. So far Mourinho has got us back to back Champions League qualification (well, we bloody should this season).
If we don't get top 4 next season, or win the Champions league, he'll be sacked. If we finish 4th playing the most mind numbingly boring football possible, whilst selling Rashford and Martial and playing Fellaini every week, he'll keep his job.
There is one thing only they care about.

This is the same constant shit he's being babbling ALL fucking season. There's no leadership on the pitch either, especially at the back. God knows how much money we've gotta throw at this shit to improve things instead of looking closer to home.

If he's totally assured of being here next season, all I'm saying is that it may well reach a point early doors, were the natives will be getting restless if mundane, garbage football is generally what's on offer. Fans will be thinking '3 seasons of this??' Totally accept he's likely to be here at the start of next season but wouldn't surprise me if it all unravels for him, though. It's a possibility imo, just a personal view.

The only thing I care about is enjoying the football again. I've stopped caring about anything else. Just want to be excited to wake up for football otherwise why bother?

Can't sleep, maybe the match result had something to do with it, just reflecting back and will say thank FUCK Pardew was not still in charge at WBA and we lost, he would have been doing one of his silly dances, he hates United.

lack of real quality leadership on and off the pitch. also like Karma said we seem to be very reactive, the noisy neighbours rather have been progressively pro active same for the scousers. We react by trying to throw money at problems that actually really need good coaching.
if we are all being honest there has been logic to each appointment but the killer issue with all of them is really the football they played was just simple boring, always gonna cause an issue when your at a club that has had brilliant attackers and even now has brilliant attackers, the managerial appointments should have complimented the players at the club.
