Can you see Jose changing much next season? this is how he is, how he plays, we are too many huge changes away from success in terms of style and players. I think we’ll get more of the same in the big games, but my guess is that with the midfield and defensive reinforcements Jose is planning to add, we’ll be much more solid vs bottom half sides. Will it be enough to match City if they have another season like this one? Probably not, I think with some tweaks we’ll be able to get an extra 12 points next season. Attracting the right players might be an issue, will they choose cautious defensive football in coming to United? we were linked with a lot of players last summer that didn't materialise. Proper fed up with this shite.

“His performances, well they have to improve. They can’t get any worse to be honest with you.” Scholes on Sanchez Understatement of the century. Miki would drive you mad with his inconsistency but would still end up with some assists and a few goals. Whereas Sanchez just drives you mad. Unfortunately for Utd we seem to have bought a Rooney clone rather than a Rooney replacement. Anyone who remembers me last summer knows I don’t say this lightly but I’d take Perisic in a swap with Sanchez. At least he’s direct.

His refusal to drop Sanchez has royally pissed me off. I feel its disrupted us even more going forward.
Finishing 2nd is a smokescreen not an accomplishment. Full one or two cracks in and 3 or 4 appear, getting ridiculous now, so many players in the squad just dont seem to give a shit either.
They might aswell spit on the shit, because they're not playing for it.

And Martial takes what feels to be the first decent corner in about 6 years and Pogba puts it wide.

Doing what he's done all season, deflecting from his own fuck ups. Always has to be another angle to hide his own failings.

I can't recall being so calm after losing a cup final. The second half of this season just sucked out the entertainment from football, with just the odd moment of joy (e.g. the cup semi). This has felt so midtable both in terms of football and being competitive, and the former bothered me a lot more. It is absolutely astonishing that we are devoid of any ideas going forward after all the money that has been spent. Our defense isn't all that either. Shaky as fuck, and has to thank DDG for being the best in the business and Jose for keeping 2 CM in our own half to protect them at anytime against anyone. And all that happened after Sanchez was brought here to fix one of the only things that were not broken in that squad. Martial definitely deserves criticism for some mediocre performances but it would be a disaster if we were to lose him on the back of that bizzare decision to bring Sanchez at his expense. And now to another summer where a bunch of names will be mentioned, bought and get internet forums buzzing. Fuck sake, what happened to the football I used to like? I'd honestly forgot the game even happened for a long time today.
