With Bale (or an equivalent game-changer)- 1st. Without Bale- 2nd But by less distance than last year. Who do you reckon the other game changers are that are on a par with Bale that are gettable?

That’s the problem man. There aren’t any, at least not that I can think of. Maybe Dembele from Barca if he’s surplus? He’s not Bale though. Sanchez was supposed to be. It’s not too late but the clock is ticking for him.

I do think Chelsea with Sarri will be a close contender to our title charge however. Not if Hazard and Courtois leave. They haven’t a hope of replacing them with similar quality.

No way do Barca lose more face by letting another big signing leave.

Dybala will be there in 2 years, but if we signed him and got lucky he could be this year. The question is where he’d fit though - he’s best as #9 or #10. Maybe sign Dybala, play him with Lukaku and Martial, forget Sanchez exists, and play the #fluidfront3 that we all dream of from 08...

I actually think that our current squad should be more than capable to win the league, even with the current weaknesses. I think that it’s much more a matter of how Jose will choose to use the squad at his disposal, rather than who he can add to it, that will determine where we finish.
I also don’t trust Jose’s judgement at this point when it comes to signing forward players. Still can’t believe he signed Sanchez to play on the left wing.

Anywhere from 2nd to 4th, god forbid even 5th. Sign Bale and we might have a shot at... Having the best LB in the team of the year

Having the best LB in the team of the year There’s so much attacking talent in our squad, it just needs to be unleashed. Bale would obviously be a lovely addition, but I think that even without him we could do well (but again, as we already agreed, it’s down to how Jose uses his squad).

You'd normally think so, but by all accounts he could have gone straight to Real and started last summer. He preferred PSG because he wants to live in his home country and still compete in the CL - maybe that won't change.

Not many 18/19 yr olds fuck off across the continent, not like he's get a pay rise either
