Astounded 50% of voters think we'll win the league, looking at the overall outlook you'd think people are expecting way less. If we don't win the league we'll finish 3rd I rate, Liverpool have strengthened well. Yeah, 16 members now think that we'll win it. Can't see it personally but it's an optimistic outlook, fair enough. Just don't see any evidence of it with the mindset of this miserable git in charge, we can't even put in a performance in the States regardless of playing friendlies. Not confident but I do admire the optimism of others, it's just that I have no reason whatsoever to have it.

As annoyed as I am with how we played last year, and how dour Mourinho is right now, I still don't think anyone gets past us bar Citeh.
Pool have bought some belters and they play with confidence. However, they will make some fecking howlers and get caught with the mega press. They have a better keeper and the middle of the park looks stronger. Still not better than ours.
Spurs haven't added any significant depth. Arsenal will come better prepared for their 4th place trophy, but I imagine Chelsea won't improve much. Likely they will lose their two best players if anything.
I'm hoping second doesn't become perennial but under this management I no longer have faith.

6th, 7th, 8th. One of those. No chance of top 4.

I can't remember feeling as low about a new season as this in my lifetime, honestly.
In the 80's maybe but then I was just a kid, I didn't really get football as much as I thought I did. You're always positive as a kid as well aren't you.
I have absolutely no interest in watching United this season, that's how bad it has become. If I was still in Europe I would, but over here, bollocks to staying up till 3 in the morning, or getting up at 4 or 5 to watch the utter shite that is paraded about. I have better things to be doing than subjecting myself to that, like sleeping.
It has nothing at all to do with being any kind of a glory supporter either, if we were going through a hard patch but still trying to play good football, I'd stay/get up to watch the games. It's the football. I got into the game because of the love of watching and playing it. There is no love in watching this. None. Even he seems utterly bored by the football we play, and he's the one forcing it on us!
Can you imagine the team Ferguson could have put out if he'd had the funds (or the equivalent of) when he was in charge? You think he would have signed players based purely on how tall they are and how hard they are prepared to work? We'd have had Zidane. Maldini. Batitstuta. Raul. Ronaldo (Brazilian). But how good at defending corners are they, that's the important thing.
Fucking over it.

Fucking over it. I agree with most of what you said , except I think fergie would win the league without the money.

Fucking over it. I did think Mourinho might win his usual 2nd season title but I was convinced at some point we'd all end up bored of the football and negativity. I'm in your boat. It's not just the waking up thing either. It's the effort to find the stream or figure out who's got the coverage, how to plan my day around it. Do I tell people not to tell me the score to the late morning games just to go home and watch boring rubbish? Probably not.
