With Bale (or an equivalent game-changer)- 1st. Without Bale- 2nd But by less distance than last year. You think Bale is still on the table now Ronaldo has gone?

Unless major changes are made to our right wing, midfield and defense are made nothing will change and City will piss it again.
I'm not hopeful at the moment. 3rd maybe 4th

They’ll replace Ronnie, probably with Hazard. The problem for Bale is the new guy really rates Isco and Asensio to a lesser extent. Normal clubs would keep Bale and not spend 120 mill on Hazard but Perez must have his shiny new toy.

Big jump up from Shaktar. Fernandinho made it. As did Douglas Costa.

Between Pogba, Matic, Fred, Herrera, Pereira and McTominay I think we’re pretty good in central midfield. If used properly, we should be able to handle any team in the league.
Yes I didn’t mention Fellani intentionally.

Sounds like Hazard is going to cost a bomb and Chelsea are reluctant to sell as well which isn't a surprise.

Issue isn't with the signing of Fred. It is the complete lack of faith in the manager to use that signing to get the best from our most gifted midfielder/forwards due to a fetish with a hoofing post.

Voted first because I'll always start the season with hope ahead of common sense. After all, that's where we belong. I'll not start a season thinking Utd won't win it.
