We generate enough money to compete without a sugar daddy. Only problem is someone raising the initial money. It could be dirty money. I don't fancy it. We're stuck with the Glazers and Ed until someone buys us out and we already know how that pans out long-term, nobody legit is gonna pay what it takes. We don't need a sugar daddy, we need someone who doesn't see us as a cash cow and allows us to function properly as a football club rather than a company, even if it's a PR exercise for an oil state. Their goal will be success on the pitch. Also great potential for Ed to be 'silenced' when he opposes any takeover. Ed is a weevil he is most likely the one doing numbers on the deal just like he did for the Glazers. Honestly speaking this potential takeover is distressing given the shit that lot are capable of but the Glazers looking at 4bn on one hand and another rebuild on the other they would be crazy not to sell and run off to Tampa. |

They are probably sitting tight and hoping they can get even more bang for their buck. This may be risky though as the product becomes too much to attract a buyer. They can't hold off stadium redevelopment forever regardless of whether that involves stadium expansion or not. I think they are misguided if they think they can continue to flog the name without adequate investment in both the team and ground. Just like selling shares. The timing is crucial. Other options may be more attractive to buyers and they price themselves out. |

There was also that myth in there about Woowar being some super savvy business wonk. Much of nothing really. If people don't have time/want to watch the video: Conn reckons the cunts aren't for selling because our value hasn't peaked yet. We have to get rid of the entire family. |

that makes me furious. when someone actually says it out loud like he does here its absolutely infuriating. completely destroyed our club.
