What’s weird is that, for one of the great Italian managers, Ancelotti just barely bothers with tactics anymore. It’s genuinely quite hard to say what Real Madrid do beyond just finding a way to win. Things tend to be a bit ropey to start with, Carlo raises an eyebrow and it eventually goes right. Dortmund were getting those chances first half, but you just knew that regardless of how many they’d get, none of them would go in and they’d regret it massively when Madrid eventually scored. Anyway, glad it’s over and everyone can stop pretending Sancho has been class with his two goals in six months of football. Dortmund threw that game away, the goals they gave away are befitting of this bridesmaid title they have. At this level, no tiny fullback should be out jumping your CBs in the last 20 minutes of a European cup final. Once that goal went in, you could see the belief just drain away. Madrids dominance of this competition tells you everything you need to know about European football these days. Where the hell are the great clubs in Europe these days? The glory days are over, its all oil money and Real Madrid. Its just fucking boring. They utterly blew their load in the first half. Like kids on a sugar rush around parents who know the crash is coming soon and all they have to do is wait. Oil money is only in England. Barcelona and United have been completely beaten into the ground due to mismanagement and incompetence. Chelsea are doing God knows what. Arsenal were never decent in Europe. Bayern seem to have taken the Man United approach to club management. Italian clubs have rarely ever been competitive enough apart from the odd year. Atletico and Dortmund are always there nipping at the heels but when it comes to crunch time they always fail. Absolutely nobody should feel aggrieved by Madrid's dominance. They are the only true big club in Europe. They act like it, they perform like it.

The Italian clubs are practically broke and most large clubs in Europe cannot compete. European football is trash these days in my opinion, especially when compared to the glory days of the 90s and 00s.

Biggest club in the world?
Madrid were destroyed by 115 and went out and signed Bellingham and put the final touches to sealing Endrick, not to mention copperfastening Mbappe. We finish 8th and consider a bid for fucking Chabaloh.

Bellingham struggled against bayern too but the guy is 23 and on the whole had an amazing season. It can't all be on player to carry the whole team. That's where the squad plays its part and Real have enormous depth.

It can't all be on player to carry the whole team. He’s not been massively present in the game last night, but Madrid weren’t really for a large portion of it. I also don’t think he’s going to be that kind of player that’s dominating a game. Think he’s going to continue to crop up in moments. And really, he got the assist for the winner, so that’s what he’s done.

Carlo isn't playing him in central midfield for a reason. Like you say he's going to do his best work around the goals in moments.

Bellingham looked nakerd tbf and im not surprised with the amount of games hes played at such young age. if getting an assist in a CL Final is an average performance ill have those every weeek!
Madrid win the league, CL then the next day announce Mbappe done.
be interesting to see who else they sign as theyre not slowing down.

Bellingham is 20 (younger than Hojlund !) , plays for the most demanding fanbase in the world , got 23 goals 11 assists this season , won the LaLiga and CL.
Thats pretty impressive.

Don't worry lads. INEOS will sign "the next Mbappe" and "the next Bellingham". With whatever is leftover after signing Chalobah.
