Aye, he seems like the only player at the minute getting a free pass. There was another good chance of a counter attack in the 2nd half after we'd gone in front which he fucked up. I'd genuinely rather have Sanchez in the attack instead of him at the moment.

He nods it right to three Chelsea players, then turns around and waves an arm angrily at some other player who couldn’t have been closer than 20 yards behind him. Try Alexis in the No 9 role with Martial /Rash either side, can’t be any worse than having the oafish Lukaku there , let him fuck off to Juve and get Dybala in as part of the deal. |

We don’t know for certain. It looks like we’re man to man on set pieces but there could be situations where a man gets passed on. It COULD be the situation here. Edit- someone on Red Cafe said Rudiger had mentioned communication between Pogba and Lindeof before the corner was taken. So again, it COULD be that Pogba was trying to make a switch and Lindelof didn’t hear or react. 1. Red Cafe. Have a day off FFS. 2. People can repeat that Smalling is our best defender until the light dies. That goal came from him ball-watching the cross as it came in. He's shit. We need a senior CB and A N other at least.

I'm not saying this to praise Smalling or talk him up but to show how fucked we are at the back as we haven't currently got a better CB. Bailly haa been a complete mess so far this season. Jones hasn't looked great or has broken down. Lindelof hasnt been too bad 2bf but is still settling in. The only defender we haven't used yet through injury is Rojo so it's only him left to give a shot. Agree on the last part, we desperately need a top centreback. The fact we've leaked more goals than 16 other teams this season so far when normally we have one of the best defense in the league highlights that massively. Should have kept Blind and flogged some of the actual shite. |

That martial in the second half was the martial from his first season, a real game changer and as people have been saying he's by far our best finisher, hopefully he signs the new deal soon as well.
