It doesn’t have to be “exactly” that you alluded that he can do the job of fb, would he get in any other top side as fb? Would he fuck it’s laughable, I don’t care that he had one half decent good game he shouldn’t be here anymore. Saying he had a decent game doesn't equal me saying he can do a job there. We should be playing Dalot there, every game. I was commenting on Alt's post where he said himself, he didn't watch the entire game. I'd also suggest you wind your neck in, next time, before you decide to go all aggro on me again. Ta. |

If anyone thinks a Young is decent fullback you are clutching at straws, it’s a joke. No he's part of the problem the club have moving players on. A replacement costs money. From all accounts Dalot was bought earlier than the club wanted due to other clubs sniffing around, i.e. one for the future and not quite ready despite some fans expecting him to start every game. We have too many mature or ineffective players who are on large contracts. Unfortunately we have a bellend CEO who thinks everyone wants to buy them when we don't want them so they keep getting their contracts renewed. I wouldn't be at all surprised if most of those players who are out of contract have theirs renewed again in another act of buffoonery by our DOF rather than half rightly being allowed to run their contracts run down. Case in point is Darmian, I don't blame the club initially for asking for 20 million but when it became clear that the only clubs interested were way out of our valuation , they should have compromised. Instead we have a player who hardly plays who we will get nothing for in the summer. Mind you I half expect Penfold to give him another extension the way his tiny mind works. I said last season Young and Valencia shouldn't be starting games this season but yet here we are again. Let Valencia run his contract down and Young can have another 12 months but should be a back up option only. Its been bad enough trying to get a decent CB never mind letting DickEd sort out a decent starting right back as well. |

More proof as if anyone with an ounce of sense needed it that this team would be better under a manager that wants to play football and a stable personality at the club!
I didn't hear much about how utter shit we were in the first half, when the team was set up for the usual to stifle them( Obviously we don't have the personnel to play that way, but we have a crazy good attacking squad. Mata who was excellent in the second half was basically man marking Jorginho in the first half. That was his fucking job, man mark Jorginho as a result Mata was not doing what he should be doing and Pogba stifled in a defensive role but all the news is on his defending. The guy shouldn't have a fucking marking role because he is tall
Second half they had to go for it again and off came the shackles, with Martial excelling again when the tempo is up and Mata un shackled from his stupid man marking Jorginho job.
The 6 minutes was for the excessive time wasting and disruption, when we took off Martial and Mata our two best players and it did us no favours
Absolutely Gutted to lose that game , but lost in the headlines about that fucking idiot child once again is why a team plays like West Brom under Tony Pulis in the first half and United in the second AGAIN!!

Kinda looks like a massive overreaction here. Skunk says Young shouldn't be playing FB anymore. Anyone here disagree with that? Anyone at all? Bueller? No. You say Young had a decent game. He had a decent 2nd half. That 2nd half does not cancel out the earlier idea that Young shouldn't be playing FB anymore. Or does it, in your opinion?
