Only problem with the second one in terms of Juve is we broke the world record to sign one of their players for him just a couple of years ago, a player everyone was saying was going to be the next best midfielder on the planet. This will be ignored buy some on here but you are absolutely correct. We signed one of their biggest talents for a world record fee. Juventus is a really shit example for him to use to be honest. We've signed 3 players in his time here that would all have made the top 5 of their most expensive transfers ever. Matic would be 7th on the list only just behind Buffon as well. Not to mention their top one is Ronnie who only cost a few mil more than Pogba. |

He can blame the owners all he wants. He's spent £400m on this squad and still no closer to getting to where we should be. Wasting most of it in the process. I wouldn't trust him with any more either. But if theyre not going to back him then sack him. Cant do neither. But we're leaking goals constantly and need a top CB and need to start using Dalot more. Cant be doing with Young putting in one more shit delivery. Didn't Young not play alright tonight? |

We've signed 3 players in his time here that would all have made the top 5 of their most expensive transfers ever. Matic would be 7th on the list only just behind Buffon as well. Not to mention their top one is Ronnie who only cost a few mil more than Pogba. This idea that he hasn't been backed is horseshit, has was backed 100% until the last window when they seemed to lose trust. That's when he should have gone. He'd been picking fights with them all last season so it's no surprise. their mistake was not getting rid of the manager, not choosing not to sign Maguire. |

There were links with Toby all summer but sounds like we didn't even bid for him. Not sure if Maguire was a last ditch panic buy. That's if we were even seriously interested? |

The board have mucked him around in every transfer window bar, arguably, his first. The season following which we won two trophies. Mourinho isn't blameless at all but as I have maintained before if it's Jose vs. Woodward/the Glazers I'm with Jose 100%. At least he's a football man. |

If you count Sanchez as a RW, he’s already spent big on every single one of them positions, yet our team looks so disjointed and lacking in multiple areas. We shouldn’t be spending another penny until he’s fucked off. |

There is a limit to what they will cough up. Hence a shambolic summer of transfers. There were reports before the summer ended that the board felt the squad was good enough for top 4 which shows the level of ambition. What's the point chucking loads of money around? No absolute guarantee that it will be enough to win the PL because quite a number of clubs are doing the same.Not sure what the stats are for transfers this summer but I imagine there's at least 5 PL clubs who have spent more than us. |

It doesn't matter who spent more than us in one particular summer. We signed players and have probably the second most expensively assembled squad. Just Fred alone shoukd have seen us play better than last season due to having another midfield option. We are not in this mess because of the last transfer window even if we should have signed a cb. |
