All issues against the board and ownership aside, any manager that is in the top 5 in the world should be getting far more with the squad we have.
Even if we are shipping goals we should be outscoring teams with the attacking options.
Board and Woodward embarrassing, Jose just as embarrassing as a coach in this modern era.
The all need to do their jobs properly

As far as I know he's not a fullback and he's not available this season anyway. The point is he should be available & he plays both CB & RB. He's more of a right back that Young is. |

Did anyone notice Jose showing the three fingers to juve fans towards the end... I didn't see that all mate. I find that really surprising as Jose has enough on his plate to be dealing with than 3 fingers to Chelsea and Juve fans. But he's so caught up in bollocksology, he can't help himself. I'd say the majority of United fans are finding this shit tiresome when there's numerous issues with the side that he should be concentrating on. |

Another one of his answers that tell us absolutely fuck all. It tells us that our owners won't make that extra push for what we need. Make do, no other clubs make mistakes with transfers so get on with what you have. That's what it says to me. See that's all well and good but other then this summer he's been backed massively, he needs to look a bit closer to home and see why none of the younger players haven't really pushed on, why both his CB he brought in are cack, (lindelof had a good game last night tho), he needs to look at the striker he payed 75m for who's fucking dog shit, pogba who the board broke the world record for him. It's ok bashing the board because they are cunts but it's a bit niave for him to go on like he's not been backed, his signings haven't been great that's the problem but fuck me what was the board thinking this summer I can see why they wouldnt back him but he should of been gone. |

Do something now and be relevant for things other than controversy. Sick and tired of hearing about money when he got all he asked for bar a defender. Ok so we get the defender, the attacking play is still pants! That is the real issue, talented players that look like strangers, I felt sorry for him with the media stuff and being sacked but once again he shows he cannot change. |

Whilst I get the majority of the sentiment I've scanned through, last night showed me a few important things.
This side is lacking in character, experience and nous on the big stage.
Yes, Jose is to blame for many of our woes, but some of these players crumble under pressure and suddenly cannot manage to keep their fucking foot on the ball. At home.

This idea that he hasn't been backed is horseshit, has was backed 100% until the last window when they seemed to lose trust. That's when he should have gone. He'd been picking fights with them all last season so it's no surprise. their mistake was not getting rid of the manager, not choosing not to sign Maguire. How do you know who we even bid for? There were links with Toby all summer but sounds like we didn't even bid for him. Not sure if Maguire was a last ditch panic buy. That's if we were even seriously interested?

Two months on and it appears that Jose has sat his new 50m summer toy on the bench next to his previous 30m toy which he doesn't like to play with anymore. He reluctantly plays his recently-purchased 40m toy because his Jones toy broke.
He is behaving like a spoiled kid at Toys'R'Us. The board should be the responsible parent and give him a slap.

im so struggling with this shit. what a fuckin pathetic performance. I don't care that they are more talented players. it doesn't take real football skill to fly into a challenge. to hammer someone. to get the testosterone flowin. to get the crowd up. if a team is better, show balls and get into them
sick of lukaku playing in his timberland boots. one of the worst CL performances ive ever seen from a utd striker. don't care if hes up against the best CB, he can still do basics. he can still give options. he can still move. he does nothing.
how is matic still playing 90 minutes ? we paid 55m for a CM in the summer. we have Pereira who, imo wasn't as bad as Matic has been recently. least he can track and pass the ball and at least go into a challenge.
why was no subs brought on ? why not throw chong on, give him some excitement, maybe, jst maybe some youth enthusiasm could have done us the world of good.
jose is not the man to take us forward. the previous weeks have papered over the cracks. we don't know how to play football as we have no style, no way of playing and that comes down to coaching.
we cant even enjoy this years CL campaign as theyre so crap and were not going to be in it next year. very bad times.

This season is a write-off. My only concern is DDG's contract.
I'd give him a blank contract so he could fill the terms. Wages, control over future signings, a golden statue outside OT and naming rights for the goalposts.
Do that and for me it is as good as winning a trophy.

Just looking at the team, one major thing think we lack for me is any aggression, or at least on the pitch last night. Everyone is too nice. We definitely need a couple of bastards in the side. It's why I like Herrera, especially in big matches, he's such a prick. Fred looks like a bit of a dick as well but he's not getting any game time for whatever fucked up reason.
One player who could do with becoming a bastard is Lukaku. With his physique he should be bullying defenders week after week, even the likes of Chiellini and Bonucci. There was a moment last night where the ball was played into him and Chiellini had a hold of his shirt, he just stopped, threw his arms in the air, lost possession and the ref didn't even give a free-kick. Just infuriating. He should've been shrugging the fucker off, even if he pushes him to the ground or something, make him realise he's in a match and he won't get the better of you physically.
Think the only person who looked like they got remotely upset last night or showed any emotion was Young.

Valencia has had mouth surgery and Dalot was injured since the international break. Neither fit to play. But no it's the managers fault neither played. Cue the "Well Dalot wouldn't have got a game anyway" coming up shortly. Why on earth there is so much bitching and moaning about Young playing I don't know. He had a decent game. Latest ROM scapegoat I presume? I said last season that neither should be starting games but in this instance the alternative option wasn't available and yet there's still fucking moaning! |
