We played a 33 year old right-footed left winger converted left back at right back. In place on a 33 year old no footed converted 33 year old right winger.
We've spent a fuckload of money despite people saying the owners are penny pinching on the first team squad, This problem hasn't just surfaced in the one summer we spent relatively little.

Agreed. Looking at that team tonight, it’s evident that we need a new RB, CB, CM/DM, RW and ST. If you count Sanchez as a RW, he’s already spent big on every single one of them positions, yet our team looks so disjointed and lacking in multiple areas. We shouldn’t be spending another penny until he’s fucked off. We always spend big and get rinsed and it's got worse since Ed started bragging about what we can do in the transfer market. He's the one overpaying on wages. Do you trust the board to get the next appointment right? Not really no, not unless a DoF comes in beforehand and helps select one. That said, you can pretty much guarantee it'll be a big name (Poch, ZZ etc) so they'd do very well not to improve us.

Sounds exactly like that shit Moyes spouted about United should aspire to be like City.
No it's aimed at the owners. I can't see how it's anything else. Sounds exactly like that shit Moyes spouted about United should aspire to be like City.
It's clearly a dig at Woodward and the Glazers. Jose is saying those clubs are at the level they are at because of the investment in the squads.
I'm honestly not seeing how you both think that its a dig at the owners.

Still baffled at the lack of subs coming on and then he moaned about Fellaini's injury - so if we don't have Fellaini we can't bring on any subs? like Fred for a tiring Matic? In one comment Mou has said to the other players that they're nowhere near as important as Fellaini.

Moyes made a similar comment, and was rightly fucked over for it. Only he didn't get backed up with 400m or whatever it is Jose has wasted so far.

I'd prefer Tree up front ahead of the actual tree that is Lukaku

Well I mean its swapping one berk for another but the other players on the bench should have been used - Fred, Herrera or even Chong. Strikes me as cutting off your own nose to spite your face.

Yup, even a Darmian swap for Lukaku would've done. Young RW, Rashford CF. Anything, something. Matic needs 2 weeks off, like not even training.

And this is why I blame him for people not showing character, it's all about Jose. he is a disgrace. you spent all summer moaning about defenders so why wouldn't the defenders always look nervous and play way below their potential. he spent a summer chasing the inter winger perisic so he could get rid of Martial and we wonder why martial had a season of stop start, sulk abit. You get in sanchez when we didn't need him that is a story in itself, I could see the logic but only if he was to be played on the right. Jose has spent good money his problem is he just doesn't want to coach the players. there is talent in bailly, lindelof, dalot, shaw, fred, Pereira, rasford, martial, lukaku (lead foot or not), mata, sanchez, Herrera, matic (give the man a damn rest and watch him go again), lingard. we have a talented group of players and if he were getting the best out of them there is no way we should be 10th, really we should be joint top, I actually mean that looking at the league games we have had. we shouldn't be aiming for 2nd in our group we should be battling for 1st. but the manager wants everyone to feel like garbage, he wants the expectations lowered because he cant coach, cant go blowing money whenever he wants! what a petulant child, I am so sick of it.

We had plenty of opportunities to buy Pjanic in the past. Why on earth didn’t we move for him? I always really wanted him. Half because he's an excellent footballer and half because I wanted to say 'Pjanic on the streets of Manchester' over and over.

This idea that he hasn't been backed is horseshit, has was backed 100% until the last window when they seemed to lose trust. That's when he should have gone. He'd been picking fights with them all last season so it's no surprise. their mistake was not getting rid of the manager, not choosing not to sign Maguire. The board have mucked him around in every transfer window bar, arguably, his first. The season following which we won two trophies. Mourinho isn't blameless at all but as I have maintained before if it's Jose vs. Woodward/the Glazers I'm with Jose 100%. At least he's a football man.I'd be surprised if anyone disagreed with that. Reminds me of that Churchill quote - "If Hitler invaded Hell I would at least make a favourable reference to the devil in the House of Commons." Obviously Jose isn't that bad, but the principle remains the same - I'll back almost anyone in our manager's position against that lot.

1 Valencia is injured? Has he played since liking the wrong tweet?
2 Dalot?
Valencia has had mouth surgery and Dalot was injured since the international break. Neither fit to play. But no it's the managers fault neither played. Cue the "Well Dalot wouldn't have got a game anyway" coming up shortly. Why on earth there is so much bitching and moaning about Young playing I don't know. He had a decent game. Latest ROM scapegoat I presume? I said last season that neither should be starting games but in this instance the alternative option wasn't available and yet there's still fucking moaning!
That's for his tweeter like. The Saudis are here

Moyes made a similar comment, and was rightly fucked over for it. Only he didn't get backed up with 400m or whatever it is Jose has wasted so far. No, Moyes didn't. He said the level of football is what 'we aspire to be at'. Mourinho is rightly pointing out that in spite of the money spent we are still miles behind the likes of city in terms of squad investment. Guardiola had been given anything he has requested at city. First season, ditched popular England's Number One city Lionheart for a new goalkeeper. New goalkeeper didn't work, sign a new one a year later. Mangala cost 30 odd million a couple of years ago and Gusrdiola had Ben allowed to farm him out on loan just to get rid of hours presence in the squad. Before last season they signed a back up right back for about 30 million quid. John Stones had a dodgy half season so they went out and signed Laporte. Whereas our board hand out new contacts to players the manager wants to offload so the beancounters can demand bigger transfer fees. They veto signing 29 year old centre backs because 'reasons'. We refused to let Darmian go on loan insisting on a ridiculously overpriced permanent deal. So now we're stuck with a player who won't play and takes up a squad place. It's blatantly obvious what Mourinho was getting at. I think making no subs was point proving as well though, which I do disagree with.
