However Jose is judged at the end, I’ll always respect the fact that he had the guts to take on the job and openly questioned the club’s ambition. He wants to win. He’s called a spade a spade and it’s clear our club is happy banking on our past success rather than creating new history. Fuck the board, owners and sponsors. In regards to our players, if Martial, Rashford and Shaw ever reach their potential, a lot of that will come down to Jose’s tough man management.

Didn’t expect to beat Juve, didn’t expect to beat City. The score line didn’t tell the whole story. I’m relieved we weren’t given a chasing like the 6-1 . The frightening part is how spent our squad looks. You wouldn’t think this was only early November. Matic is no longer magic. Pogba would have helped but City probably would have taken it up a gear. We don’t have a game-changer or talisman in the side. Bunch of grafters but no stars. If Fred and Bailly are iced out for good we have a massive rebuild on our hands. Will the Board sanction hundreds of millions in January just to chase the CL spots, or will they allow this team to run on vapors and pray? I don’t see us getting higher than 5th, and DeGea is no 5th place keeper. How do we keep him without signaling a huge spend, and how do we sanction Jose’s fantasy football instincts? I’m back to thinking Jose will be gone before the January window. Despite what people say I think they will back him. I also think they won't sack him if we don't get 4th and they will buy him the CB's and a a FB. That's my worry! With City and the Dippers they had to buy large in those areas and did, but they were already building a style of football and a class attack. Spurs haven't spent diddly in the last two years and Poch has had to deal with losing good players and want always as well as stadium woes. They had Ali and Erikson out for most of the start of the season, but still have a style and element of class they have maintained with a light squad. Dippers and City spent large on defenders and goal keepers, but the rest was evolving in a way that we aren't even close to. Moutrinho has one way of playing and without top defenders he can't do it. I said at the start you back him or sack him, but he should never have been the United manager. He is myopic and does not build a lasting team or style and now we are paying the price of that volatility and short term approach. The blame for this is squarely on Woodward, despite the fact he has loosened the purse strings and made money available the chop and change and the wrong manager has ended up where we are now. I could be very wrong, but he either looks relaxed because he is resigned to leaving or he is being backed. Woodward was there at the airport to greet him after the Juve game and I think Mourinho will be at United until the end of his contract unfortunately. He had some decent defenders to start with and unlike Liverpool and City a world class goal keeper, he didn't need to buy. He has spent 100m on defenders and yes we need a really top CB, but the MF is also a mess now despite huge investment. That last goal yesterday was Matic not staying with his man and seeing the danger despite the lyrical waxing about 44 passes. It ended with a floated ball into the Box. Young played Gundogan on side and Matic just lumbered there watched his man. We concede a lot of goals from MF players not picking up their men like that and our MF can't pass the ball forward or need 2/3 touches constantly, neither are they drilled or coached to play that way, apart from Pogba who came like that from the Academy and Juve. WTF is Fred for 60M? surely Mourinho had some direction there. The CB's were not bad yesterday, but the MF was atrocious, like it was against Juve too. WE had one shot on target yesterday in a fucking Derby, with one great ball from Martial for Lukaku. That was it, because there is nobody in MF to pass the fucking ball or get forward like City MF players. Or JUve the other night Khadeir and Pjanic had chances You play Fellaini for 90 minutes, leave Fred on the bench and play Lingard instead of Mata to chase shadows 200M spent on MF players and he had Fellaini, Herrera and Mata to start with. and our MF is now basically shit most of the time. The forwards are much better than they are allowed to be and are starved of good ball and space. Mourinho is poison for us now, because he is so clever at deflecting from his own responsibilty and confusing the narrative and Woodward doesn't really know what to do.(or so it appears) Martial is exactly the type of player he usually falls out with and the goon would have sold him if he had his way for a Perisic type player. The reason I go on about him( Mourinho) this much is I truly believe Woodward will keep him, because he(Woodward) is a class A moron. You can only get the players who want to come no matter how much you spend and Mourinho is a consideratiion for a lot of players we should be buying and even if we spend 200m on a full back and Skriniar and Maguire or whomever, we will just end up playing a slightly tighter version of the pragmatic anti football we are playing now. That's the last comment from me on him. I promise It's impossible to know what will happen at the club, but I hope they cop on and bring in someone who can bring back the old culture of attacking football and a better technical style and most important of all someone who can generate a good atmosphere.

If the board backed him in the summer like any competent club and board should then we probably wouldn’t be in this fucking mess to begin with. We had a good record against the top 6 last year l. Unfortunately, it seems the board fell into the false 3rd season narrative that the press wanted everyone to believe and failed to give him the money to take the team to the next level. The Wolves, Chelsea and Spurs result could’ve went the other way, if we had better CBs.

We've got to start addressing the defensive issues within the January transfer window but what's worrying is that there's a possibility that we might not make top four, no CL could well put our targets off.

what a pathetic performance. the spark was reignited after juve now its been completed washed away.
we are terrible. from the management right through to the players. im fuckin sick of it.
fellaini isn't a starter. how do our attackers not know where to pass, run and move with each other. why are our technical players, our ball passers, the ball carriers and our runners not playing in these games. I mean Fred the 52m signing, Pereira one of the most technical players we have. that midfield we had out would struggle against mid table teams.

But Fellaini wasn’t the problem, Herrera was the weak link in our midfield yesterday. Mata should’ve started in his place along with Sanchez for Lingard.
