I agree with the idea of backing the manager's vision but it has to be a positive vision. The problem with Jose is its often a short term one , if he had his way martial would have gone to be replaced by perisic. He prefers the matics , fellainis ,perisics kind of players over the more attacking ones. As we can see with matic he had one good season with us and now his legs are gone. completely agree. and whatever manager we get has to have a plan and vision and Howe could be that man. if he can give us fans and the club what they want, players can get on board or they can go. Fergie took no shit of big ego and I fully respect managers that deal with it in the correct way. not like jose has. I believe Howe can do it. for me its him or Jardim as I cant see who else is suitable and available right now This part is really important...when Fergie arrived there was a powerful dressing room and a bad culture...if they would change and work with him, they stayed...if not, they were shipped out - and he did this continually throughout his career... He shipped out some big names but those he kept or brought in were trusted and they flourished...nobody bigger than the club / team... That is exactly what we need now...but he needs to make sure that Ed has no part of making those decisions...

But if a player was disruptive, he was out...

Jose needs to set his arrogance aside, stand on his principles, and resign. Scorched earthing Woodward, Arnold and the whole Glazer-run debacle on his way out. It's the only way.

But that's all I've got...Woodward would have to be told by the Glazers or volunteer himself to relinquish control and he won't do it himself...his ego is too big...

But that's all I've got...Woodward would have to be told by the Glazers or volunteer himself to relinquish control and he won't do it himself...his ego is too big... Fergie had Gill. Honestly believe Gill as a buffer and as Fergie's man in the boardroom is the only thing that prevented this rot spreading sooner. If van Gaal and Mourinho can't wrest back control from Woodward, who can? Jose needs to set his arrogance aside, stand on his principles, and resign. Scorched earthing Woodward, Alexander and the whole Glazer-run debacle on his way out. It's the only way.Sadly this won't happen...unless Jose forgets about the money and...no, it won't happen... Genuinely don't think it is the money that is driving Mourinho. I think he is so stubborn and arrogant he refuses to walk because he still thinks eventually, somehow, he can prove everybody else wrong.
